  2. Hello,

You can now get verified on forum.

The way it's gonna work is that you can send me a PM with a verification picture. The picture has to contain you and forum name on piece of paper or on your body and your username or my username instead of the website name, if you prefer that.

I need to be able to recognize you in that picture. You need to have some pictures of your self in your gallery so I can compare that picture.

Please note that verification is completely optional and it won't give you any extra features or access. You will have a check mark (as I have now, if you want to look) and verification will only mean that you are who you say you are.

You may not use a fake pictures for verification. If you try to verify your account with a fake picture or someone else picture, or just spam me with fake pictures, you will get Banned!

The pictures that you will send me for verification won't be public

    Best regards,

but it would not have done any good for President Obama to give it. :(

    ---------------------

"I have enormous differences with my predecessor, President George W. Bush. But please remember that less than a week after thousands of Americans were slaughtered in the name of your religion, President Bush went to the Islamic Center in Washington, D.C., and announced that Islam was a religion of peace. Moreover, in a country of 300 million people, of whom only a few million are Muslim, there is virtually no recorded incident of anti-mosque or other anti-Muslim violence despite the butchery of 9-11 and the popular support for Osama Bin Laden that we saw in the Muslim world after 9-11...

"Unfortunately, in much of the Muslim world today anti-Jewish speeches and writing are frequently identical to the genocidal anti-Semitism one heard and read in Nazi Germany. How can you seriously charge that America is at war with Islam when in fact it is much of the Islamic world that is at war with Jews and Christians?

"I know that you would like me to announce that America is abandoning its support for Israel. But every president since Harry Truman, Democrat and Republican, has been passionate about enabling Israel to defend itself from those who wish to destroy it. And that, dear Muslims, is the issue...

"As a friend of Egypt and of the Muslim world, I want to say something from the bottom of my heart: The day the Arab world ceases obsessing over the existence of a Jewish state the size of Belize will be a great day for the Arab and Muslim worlds. Your obsession with Israel has cost you dearly in every area of social development. Preoccupation with Israel has simply enabled the Arab world to not look within for 60 years."

That is so true. Thanks for sharing that. I still think that this needs to be heard, spoken by someone.

It sounds a lot like "all of you should just STFU." Did I miss something?

He DID say that Israel has the right to exist, and that America would defend that. He also said that the Palestinians need to stop the violence.

Fortunately for the world, Obama is more even-handed in his approach than either you or George W. Bush. That's the essence of successful diplomacy.

Dogmatic tripe this turgid is rare - congratulations on shading your silly prejudice behind some of the most opaque and unelegant nonsense I've ever read. I would regard this as some kind of abstract high comedy if I didn't know you believe every word of it (however clumsy and inarticulate)

. . . keep up the good work!

You think you are smart because you used about 30 big words to simply say "you suck"?

No, I think I'm smart because my brain is 30 times larger than normal  - obviously the intentional use of "big" words in that reply escaped your satirometer . . .

That speech was written by a conservative, jewish man!!! I didn't think your views went in that direction, DL!!!

Prager is an advocate for conservative causes and a supporter of the Republican Party. The motto for his radio show is "I prefer clarity to agreement."
In his articles, broadcasts, and lectures, Prager has declared that the U.S. is engaged in a "second civil war," a "culture war" over the fundamental moral values on which American society was built. Prager argues that many influential American institutions (including universities, trial lawyers, labor unions, the ACLU, civil rights groups, and most large newspapers and television networks) are dominated by secular leftists, whom he depicts as attacking and misrepresenting the uniqueness of Judeo-Christian values and their positive historical effect upon America and the world.[citation needed] In 2005, 24 of his columns were devoted to explaining those values and how he believes they make the United States special.[2] Prager has suggested that most contemporary social and political crises stem from the absence of a normative system of ethical monotheism.[citation needed] Prager accuses the governments of Western Europe ("a civilization in decline") and Canada of suffering from "a broken moral compass," charging that the dominance of secular leftist thought in those countries has rendered their societies morally confused.[citation needed]
Prager is a proponent of American exceptionalism, the view that the moral superiority of American values sometimes justifies unilateral action on the world stage,[citation needed] and that the U.S. should not always be constrained by international law or the United Nations in pursuit of its goals.[citation needed]
Prager is both a leader in Jewish life ("One of the three most interesting minds in American Jewish life," according to The Jewish Week) and an outspoken supporter of the traditional Christian culture in the U.S. Prager often speaks of his disappointment with contemporary Jews' secularism. In a 1993 speech in Greensboro, North Carolina, Prager said that "the real religion of most American Jews is liberalism."[citation needed]
Prager identifies himself as "a religious non-Orthodox Jew" and attends a Reform synagogue,[citation needed] one of the more liberal of Judaism's denominations. Prager does not observe Shabbat according to Orthodox standards. He will drive a car to Shabbat-related events but does not allow television or radio in his home as they are not Shabbat-oriented. He neither broadcasts nor appears on TV talk shows on Shabbat or Jewish holy days. He does not keep Orthodox Jewish dietary laws. He eats chicken with milk, as did some rabbis in the Talmudic period, but now it is forbidden under Orthodox Jewish law. (The source of the prohibition against consuming a mixture of meat and dairy is the verse, "You shall not cook a kid in his mother's milk". (Exodus 34:26)) He grew up Orthodox but abandoned Orthodoxy early in life. Prager says he believes in the divinity of the Torah. He differs with some in Orthodoxy on Torah law. Prager has taken up several causes to preserve references to God and the Ten Commandments in public facilities such as schools, parks, and courthouses.
In 2004, he spearheaded an unsuccessful movement to protect the official seal of the County of Los Angeles from being redesigned to remove a cross from its imagery. The ACLU held that the cross on the official seal implied an unconstitutional government endorsement of religion, while Prager argued that it instead honored the founding of Los Angeles by Catholic missionaries, or the historical influence of Christianity in the region.[citation needed]
Prager has expressed support for the FairTax as being "as close to a panacea as we can get."

Obviously I do not agree with all of Dennis Prager's opinions, such as support for a "fair tax." I think the speech he wrote for President Obama was better than the one Obama gave. I also think the speech Obama gave will do more good. Sometimes it is good to fudge the truth a bit.

Generally speaking, I am to the left on economic and environmental issues and to the right on social issues. What is more, I love Jews, Judiasm, and Israel.

First of all i think your mistaken, when you say this speech is to Arabs, because with your religious bias in this 'speech' of yours its clearly written towards Islamic followers.

Not all Arabs are Islamic, and just because a majority are does not have them anywhere closely related to the crazies that blow themselves up.

If your going to complain about the way Muslims talk about you, then make sure to not be so hypocritical.

    Steriotypes are degrading our society.
