idk, maybe im wrong, but i almost feel like the hundreds of posts i see of people fantasizing about boning their mom/dad/sister/brother...w.e, i feel like its similar to dudes pretending to be chicks online, they just do it to fuck with people and think its funny or a joke. maybe im wrong, maybe there are alot more people out there attracted to family but i would just never hear about it unless it was here where people can be annonymous. its just not right, something genetically is supposed to prevent people mentally from wanting a family member, can so many people have a defect in that area?

 

Actually, the person of the opposite gender you're around with most as a child is a lot of the time the first person you'll have a deeper love or a fantasy for until you're more around others. So it's not a genetic thing that's hardwired in to your brain that says you shouldn't. It's just that... if you put two people in a closet something's bound to happen, so to speak, just the closet is the world in this case and it's beaten in to people's heads early on that they shouldn't look at a relative that way so they eventually conform and start seeing others besides family members as attractive. If it was genetics, then shouldn't it be the same for other animal species as well?

Some people who say they like incest are trying to troll, but here, it's a lost cause to troll with incest since as you said, everyone seems to like it. And it's not fake. i see no reason to lie on the internet. A reason you may not hear about it also is 'cause here you can be anonymous so it's fine revealing a truth about yourself like that.

Anyway, it's up to you to draw whatever conclusions. In reality, I personally have had fantasies about my step-family and have had one or two about my mom. My guess would be that, like all of the categories here, some stories are real, many are based on real events but sensationalized for the purposes of good story telling, and some are pure fantasy.

In real life, for example, I went to college with someone whose parents were brother and sister. He looked strange (not freaky strange, but "off") but was otherwise fine (smart enough to be in college, at least). That said... I know a lot of sexually adventurous people and no one in my real life has ever told me a story of their own consensual incestuous adventures (non consensual stories, I have heard...usually told by the victim). In my life, both a cousin (distant... but I was only 12) and uncle (I was a child) made advances on me. Nothing happened.

So.... does it happen? Sure. Is it as common (or as sexy) as the posts here would have one believe? Doubtful. That's my opinion, any way.
