Ricky Gervases new film "The invention of lying" is an anti-religious pack of lies. In it his character, who is the only person who can lie, "invents" heaven and religion. No-one else has "thought of it" before he does.

It wasn't funny, either. Meant to be a comedy. Not a funny comedy,then. One of those modern comedys that's just not funny. Very fucking clever.

He was back then... he looks terrible now. I was so shocked when I saw him in the first Saw movie... I didn't even recognize him. But oh yes, I loved him then... that movie and his cute little Robin Hood spoof.

 

That's a shame.. I don't think I've seen him in anything more recent; gory horror/thrillers aren't really my bag...
