A good friend of mine has been married for a long time. He got married when I was still in teens. And its been quite a while since I was in teens.
Up until a few years ago, he’d tell that his sex life pretty much rocked. They had a blast together. Lots of touching, kissing, giggling and downright fucking.

Just about every day.
Even throughout the hectic years when their kids were little, dishes were piled up, laundry multiplied overnight, they still were intimate all the time.
What happened?
Menopause happened.

It seemed to turn something off, emphatically and forever, in his wife.
She decided that she was All Done With Sex.
He’s been pretty miserable about it, from what I understand.
What was once a source of much pleasure and comfort is now a battle.
She’ll consent to sex about once a month.
No frills. Strictly in and out.
And since my friend no longer has the cock of a seventeen-year-old boy, it takes him a bit longer to get things done.
So I’ve been told, anyhow.
Well, she has no patience for dilly-dallying around.
Ain’t no waiting around.
No blow job from her…she doesn’t do that.
No hand job from her…out of the question.
And here’s the kicker: she objects to masturbation.
Evidently it is evil.
She would prefer that my friend not masturbate at all, and definitely not in her presence.
Not even out of her presence, if she suspects it.
Does this seem reasonable? Fair? Just? Normal?

For the age they are she's probably from a generation where masturbation isn't ok. And with menopause, so many hormones are changing of course she won't be interested in sex. Many women aren't. Not only because of hormones but because they don't feel sexy anymore. They don't have the body of a 20 year old anymore.

 

I have a friend who married a woman ten years his senior, and he's complaining of the same symptoms.
Tells me he loves her, but he's definately looking for a girlfriend.

 

Same thing here in my relationship my wife is not interested at all she is in here early 50's, I know it is not right but I am looking else where too.

No it's not fair but life changes. I'm the opposite way, my hormones are giving one last kick before menopause and I can barely stop thinking of sex, while hubby is going off the boil. That's not fair either, but then life isn't meant to be, and I manage. I'm sure there are worse things..........
