I took an oath 32 years ago to uphold the Constitution of the United States of America and to uphold the laws of New York State so believe me I know these vermin and have dealt with them.
Perhaps you think my solution to execute them is simplistic because they are what they are and frankly I don’t care.
I took a forty year old convict out on a court with AIDS for raping a three year old boy and infecting him and causing irreparable damage to the child both mentally and physically.
The abomination was tearful and sorry during the trial and his mommy and sisters testified about what a good person that he basically was.
At the sentencing; life in prison with no chance of parole as a repeat offender this abomination mocked the parents, the court and by doing so, society and good people everywhere.
What can’t be disputed is that if he were executed the first time instead of some bleeding heart liberal judge releasing him on a technicality filed on behalf of the pedophile by a pro bono attorney provided by NAMBLA for this said abomination this child would have never been a victim and scared for life not to mention his quality of life…dead is dead and I cry no tears for them.

What gives you the right to decide who lives or dies? honestly. And anyways a 19 year old guy who is dating a 17 year old girl that has parents that bring charges against him can and probably will be convicted as a pedophile. Even if he loves her, his life will be (excuse the language) FUCKED. He wont get a good job, cannot go within (i think) at least 100 yards of ANY children, AND be able to be tracked where ever he decides to move to try to make a new life for himself AS WELL AS A PRISON SENTENCE. Now that said if he/she is tried in a court of law and the evidence shows them to be clearly guilty of gross pedophilia a life sentence in prison is what they deserve.

What gives me the right to choose who lives and who dies? A trigger finger and plenty of ammunition. When a person makes the choice to victimize a child I no longer give a good God damn about thier rights.I dont care about thier childhood anymore or the bully that beat them up or the fact that they didnt get enough chocolate icecream. In times past the courts never saw cases like this because the accused never made it that far.It saved the tax payers huge amounts of money and made eventual release and reoffense impossible. In this day and age some bleeding heart judge will grant them a light sentence based on thier "mental capacity" and within a few years they are right back out there to destroy yet another childs life.How many cases of child molestation are commited by serial offenders? Many of whom have been caught befor? multiple times? How many people would you like to suffer just because you want to be nice? All solved by .49 cents and someone with a trigger finger.The trade off seems pretty good to me.

 

Every urge a man has for sex I think is completely genetic. 20,000 years ago men and women didn't live that long and I would bet that as soon as a young woman hit puberty she was at an ideal age to mate. She is attractive, had the life span left to raise the child and was at her strongest physically probably. So I imagine it wasnt considered being a phedophile back then. Just a smart move. As for children not yet at puberty I dont have an answer. Maybe there is an instinctive drive to predict who should grow to be the best mate. And Men therefore see them in that fashion. In present day, mortality rates, food sources, shelter issues have all been solved on a mass scale which probably insures the continuation of our species. So Society has begun to imply societal rules for procreation that inhibit certain mating situations that usually end up costing the rest of the people around them resources. I think it is that simple.

It's a fetish. A dangerous fetish and nothing more. It's been shown that most pedophiles who are men that prey on lil boys aren't necessarily gay, they just find small boys attractive. The American Psychological Association lists it as a mental disorder and I think they're wrong.

 

I don't tend to view it as a mental disorder. As others have stated, the tendency toward pedophilia is probably genetic, although it can't help that our society sexualizes young children to an alarming degree.

The distinction I would make is between those who sexually aroused by children and harbor fantasies about them, and those who act on such impulses. We all have fantasies, some of which we would never reveal to anyone, and we're generally well enough socialized to understand the wrongness (and illegality) of acting on them. When people act on them anyway, it may be the result of a mental disorder, but it may be as simple as a willingness to take risks and not fear the consequences.

I would say that given the right conditions that yes, cannibalism is perfectly natural.
We have examples from the nineteenth century, such as the ill fated Donner party, and Alfred Packer, as well as a more recent example in the twentieth century when that soccer team's plan crashed in the Andes, upon which the films "Survive", and "Alive" were based.
In all these cases, you had perfectly normal, and moral people who were faced with either overcoming a deep seated social taboo, or starving to death.

This taboo goes back much further then the taboo of sex with young girls, and in fact, as little as a hundred years ago it was considered perfectly normal for a thirty year old man to marry a fifteen year old girl.
In ancient times you were an adult at thirteen, and given the right conditions, I think that almost any normal, moral person might be willing to have sex with an under aged girl.
Let's just say that you were stranded on an island with a fourteen year old girl, and no seeming hope of rescue.
Do you think that you would end up having sex with her?

I'm not advocating either of these behaviors in the normal course of things, but what I am saying is that given extreme conditions even the most moral among us might find themselves crossing lines that they never thought they would cross.
