Seein it tomorrow night

 

Played the demo and watched the animation, but it was sold out when I went to the movies,but I saw "The Other Guys" so it's all good. Also I really want the Mafia 2 game. Oh and GameInformer just gave a taste of Batman: Arkam City. Nothing like a great game preview to get the animalistic-nerd instincts fired up!

 

Games: World of Warcraft, FFX, MW2, etc.

Anime: Never much cared for it, with these exceptions: Trigun, Gundam Wing,

Hellsing, Bebop, Outlaw Star.

Movies: Everything Jason Mewes and Kevin Smith (A.K.A. Jay and Silent Bob) [together and separately, direcing and acting], Spaceballs, etc. :X


I like cute girls that are kind of nerdy, if that counts. But then, I just like girls.

I like Star Wars, too, but it was kind of before my time. As my sig says, I dye my hair blue. If that counts as nerdy I guess I'm a total geek.

 

You can never be too young for Star Wars. I'm only 25 but I'm a fan!

 

Just watched the original trilogy for the millionth time!! Empire Strikes Back still rocks...

cool? What self respecting nerd/geek would want to be identified with the cool crowd? I take offense at the notion that I should want to be considered cool. If you consider yourself nerdy/geeky because you play video games have you never played a KOTOR or Force Unleashed or any of the other Star Wars based games out there?

 

Force Unleashed II is going to be more than most decent, and the "cool crowd" tends to be full of douches, just saying. (and yes I have much hatred for the "cool people")

 

wow.. i keep forgetting that a lot of people that come to this site might actually still be in highschool..

so i should expect to see words like 'cool crowd' and aversions to it on an 'nerdy' internet forum.. why else would people even mention it.. lol!!



just downloaded limbo from XBL.. its a frickin trip.. and difficult.. i would say if youre looking for another mind fucker of a game like BRAID.. limbo is a very good answer to it..

i personally was kind of dissappointed with force unleashed 1.. there were a lot of glitches and graphical problems that i thought shouldnt even exist in a 'next gen' game..

it was repetitive and it seemed like someone was doing a fire sale on rankors.. and the star destroyer level was just.. no.. OMG.. no.. !!

but having said all of that.. i cant wait for FU2..

The nerdy label at least extends beyond high school or we wouldn't still refer to ourselves as nerdy, it's just that after high school we tend to have more freedom about who we have to associate with and so the group conflicts tend to fade. However; just because I've gotten older and a bit more mature doesn't mean that I've forgotten or that the old resentments aren't still there waiting to be brought back up.

I'd heard people had problems with glitches in Force Unleashed, I seem to have the good fortune to rarely encounter glitches myself. Except for in The Secret Armory of General Knox DLC for Borderlands, where the last fucking guy in the arena spawned under the ground 3 fights in a row before I rage quit.

 

I was just wondering what the difference between a nerd and a geek is? Because although I have never watched anime and or play video games, I still consider myself a nerd. I listen to audio books instead of music on my ipod just so I can read more in less time. When the hubble space telescope movie came out in 3D I bought advanced tickets. I attended a lecture on how animals are adapting to global warming without going to the university. So, what does that make me? I don't really care about the label im just curious to how I would be classified.

i havent forgotten mine either.. i guess i just let go if my resentment.. mostly due to the fact that a lot of the people that looked down on me during my early life are pretty much losers today.. ..so i dont hold a grudge..
