I know there have been a lot of posts about male shaving of the groin and pubic regions but I wanted to get a woman's perspective about a man shaving everything...

I have recently starting waxing (back sac and crack) as I like it and personally like the smooth feeling. But I can feel quite embarrassed about it if I am to engage in relations as a lot of women expect hair down there in a man... I used to keep trimmed but prefer the smoothness and altogether closeness you feel with someone when hair is not blocking the way...

Anyway, I digress... I have just started engaging with emails with someone from another country in the EU where it is common for males over there to shave or wax off all body hair (inc arms and legs). It is common practice. The most I have done, as I have mentioned is a back sack and crack.

I am now interested in feedback on what a woman would think if I shaved my chest, stomach, underarms and possibly legs or even waxed...

I am due to visit this lovely lady in a couple of weeks. She visited me the other month and I was hairy as I had let myself grow since my last wax. I also noticed her removing hairs from her mouth and that kinda disturbed me as I like a lady not to have to encounter that! She was smooth all over her body and would think that from her culture, being hairless would not be a problem. But... If I were to take the step and wax my whole body, and things did not work out, I was wondering what women would feel about a completely smooth appearance from a male...

I am quite body conscious as I am not exactly slim. I swim and cycle regularly so when I am wearing little, people are going to see I have waxed / shaved in this country (UK) so I am nervous about taking the plunge and going completely hair free. We have communal showers in the mens at my gym and when I was waxed I was very nervous about showering sans swim shorts so always kept my front to the wall and walked back to the changing area covered up...

Women... What would you think if you met a nice man and when he was naked, was hairless except for his eyebrows and head... I am due for my next wax in a few days pre-trip to meet her and may upgrade to legs, chest and stomach depending on feedback...

I know it's all down to personal choice and to be honest, I would quite like to be hairless as I find it looks and feels cleaner and sexier and is also a turn on to me however I don't want to strip off and be laughed at either so wanted some honest opinions... Some women like a hairy male as it's the norm... but would it freak you out to see someone smooth all over???

I'm not a stud-muffin or have many relations but being waxed, the hair takes a long time to grow back so if things do not work out with this woman i like very much, I do not want to have to shut myself away for months until my hair grows back... (I'm not a player but you never know what's round the corner!!!)

Weirdly... I quite like an unshaven women as i like the natural look on a woman...

 

In my opinion it's not that attractive to see a man completely bare, it just seems childlike. I prefer that it be neatly trimmed because no one likes it overgrown.

 

hmmm...I really like that woman's hair is only on the head...Love to be smooth and sleek...But i can't accept to see such men on the beach for example. I can understand trimming the penis, belly and chest...and armpits...but to see men sleeker than women with trimmed eyebrows for ex. it's too much for me!

 

As a woman I personally I don't like to see men without pubic hair! It just doesn' look natural. Nor do I think women should shave their pubes. I do not shave my pubic area. I do shave my legs and underarms.

I like the feeling of being hairless but wanted the opinion of others. From personal experience most women have said do what I want and have preferred me shaved as it feels closer. But it has been a while since I have been close to someone and don't want to be laughed at for what I like.

The feedback is much appreciated and think I will go for my wax as it is booked and paid for but I will leave the rest of me to be hairy!

There tends to be a 50 - 50 split from what I've read on forums between shaved and trimmed. I like to be trimmed but on occasion I think I will treat myself to being waxed as I think there is such a good feeling to being smooth and not wanting to sound like a perv... it feels so good, erotic and kinky.

I prefer waxed to shaving personally as there is less irritation and ingrown hairs. But as I mentioned, I quite like a woman to be aux-natural.

You're not weird at all SuperTed.I also had the same dilemma.I once had a girl ask me to shave my balls.I obliged,but then asked her how far beneath i should go?She replied,"how far do you want the attention?" I have been smooth ever since. As for the pubic mound region,i keep it trimmed very short & shave the sides for shape.This seems to avoid any ingrown hairs,etc,which i have found were aggravated through pubic to pubic contact or even the pants riding a little low.Good luck mate.

 

I have tried shaving my sac and the area around my cock. Since I did it on the weekend I am still not used to it. What has surprised me is that I am very sensitive to my pubes and my crotch feels much drier - I can picture the skin getting chaffed. Any hints?

 

I am not a woman, so i cannot deliver on that front, but I will tell you that as a 8 year competitive swimmer, seeing someone in the shower who completely shaves/waxes (some swimmer just shave their body every day). It's not all too weird or uncommon, so you can at least rest assured that you are not awkward around other men, especially in the appearance of a swimmer. /shrug. Only hair I really keep on my body is eyebrows/eyelashes, and depending, armpit hair.
