The irony of this "pastor" is he believes his church and congregation are the only true Christians, but he actually wrote a letter to Saddam (i think in 1995) thanking him for letting Christians worship in Iraq. What was the point? Are the Christians that worshiped in Iraq during that time on par with the his church? I don't think I've ever seen Fred smile. He is one pissed off old man. I wouldn't be surprised if there is some incest going on in that church as well.

They aren't going to do it. In exchange for airtime on the radio they won't protest...sigh...

 

Good I am glad they are not going to be there, they are a disgrace.

At the next protest people should rent a water cannon and go by and give them a good drink.

 

I am not a First Amendment absolutist. Nevertheless, one could make the argument that the First Amendment prevents the government from prohibiting them to picket these funerals. It does not require the government to protect them as they do.

 

OH MY What do I see

I have been reading the posts about the shooting and the division that exists between the RIGHT and the LEFT but wow do I see agreement here.
Westboto Baptist Church seems to have done what nobody else has, get the RIGHT and LEFT to agree on something.
Praise the Westboro Church for bringing this country together.

I hope they do as they did some other places, put a ring of people around them and covered them from view, peacefully no harm just quietly ignore them.

 

A truly bizarre and thankfully small group of people. They basically think that everyone on the planet is going to hell except members of their inbred little church.

Since Phelps and followers base their homophobia on Leviticus, some humorous people decided in for a penny in for a pound. Leviticus also says that the eating of shellfish is an abomination and therefore a couple of guys with a sense of humor came up with the God Hates Shrimp .com website.

 

I just heard that Westboro Bapstist Church will not be protesting at the 9 year old's funeral and they may not be protesting at any of the funerals. Arizona just passed a law that it will be ILLEGAL for any one to be within 300 feet of a funeral if you wish to protest.

I say fuck their time on the radio. They know there are going to be probably more protesters than ever before at the little girl's funeral, so they know radio time will give them more publicity.

 

I say make it a half mile of a funeral.
