Pubic hair outlived other body hair because it served a purpose, it acted as a wick to broadcast pheremones, to announce sexual availability, but as human intelligence developed and other, more direct methods of sexual attraction evolved, (provocation, flirting, etc.) the pheremone effect, and our diminished olfactory ability to detect it, became redundant - and so did pubic hair. No longer serving a purpose, evolution is taking care of that too.
Not in our lifetimes (or many more to follow!) though, evolution is a rather slow process. But if, and it's a big if, mankind survives long enough, all body hair will eventually disappear. So, pussy hair lovers, enjoy it while you can, it won't last for ever, evolution is against you!
