Halloween is a typical American tradition. Here in Germany it's nothing but commercialized shit, plus some youths with behavioural problems misuse it to damage other people's properties.

But it's sad to hear that you can't join the fun this year. Seems to me your bf is a stupid tightwad (excuse my language). It doesn't take much money to make a loved one happy.

Yes, it's mostly an American celebration now, but if you recall history, it originated in Ireland. ;-) And if my some chance we were around one another on Halloween, I just might let you make sure I enjoyed myself lol The bf is definitely a tightwad without a lot of common sense. Maddening.

I gotta go back on that saltine-and-water diet...It's the only thing that has ever worked for me as far as trying to lose weight. I'm sick of being fat. I busted my ass at the gym for a year and wasn't able to go down any sizes and only dropped 12 lbs. Drastic times calls for drastic measures. Especially after seeing the difference between an unedited photo and one that was edited to make me look the way I did 10 or so years ago (posted below). There's a reason why I hate looking into mirrors or even seeing pictures of myself anymore. I'm disgusted at what looks back at me. So yeah...saltines and water it is. *le sigh*
