I don't think people get the two main distinctive groups.

1. Common Crap (everyone else - peer pressure and marketing gets us to have sex at increasingly early ages as its "cool". Not looking for a life partner but may consider it if the right person comes along. Typically will abuse their bodies with drugs and alcohol in their teens and 20's experimenting sexually in trying to get someone to accept or lvoe them up until they grow up usually when they wake up to life and want to settle down)

2. Lifetime monogamy and eternal partnership (Typically cultural or religious. Not interesting in playing the field. Not interested that legal age of consent is an implied milestone of when everyone should have had sex by. Is waiting for the person to marry and lose their virginity too with the view that such special person would be the only person they have and will be exclusive without the opportunity of either partner wanting to cheat, assumed absence of STDs and reproduction legacy of love creating new life)

Depending on your personal views is to which is the correct option to choose.

So whether or not someone is retarded by being a virgin is depending on their genuine outlook on life. Without making excuses, if you can uphold your honour etc. because you only want to get married once, you want real unconditional love and unshared companionship then there is nothing wrong with it; I don't think anyone with such indepth philosophy on life is so heavily influenced on the "norm".

If in contrast, you are always feeling like you have to compete with what others do, that the assumed "norm" is the carbon copy of the perfect life... and that your age is significantly more and sexual experience is significantly less than the assumed and predicted norm, then you are indeed retarded.

Of course, when seen in the light of sex, all virgins are shit - they are inexperienced, end of. Regardless of accumulated knowledge, until they have had practice etc. they are absolutely shit (if they dont improve afterwards thats bad news). Virginity isn't special in men as it is in women. Unless you can respect that person their virginity is worthless, its not magical or special if to be abused. It is special in a love environment but has no lust value. We can all assume virgins will be tight but thats not really a significant advantage as experienced women can also be rather tight and you can adjust this with her using kegel muscle exercises and using tightening creams etc.

A lot of people fall on either side of "just get it over with" vs "wait for love". I don't think virginity should be romanticized as some huge event, or a loss. You don't act like you've lost something the first time you ride a rollercoaster. But you shouldn't be riding one before you're ready either (or tall enough).

I don't think there's anything wrong with waiting for the right person, but you won't know much about relationships if you're not also experiencing the sexual side of them.

If someone's a virgin at age 30, there's probably something wrong with their ability to get close to people. Being a virgin at 20 or 24 probably isn't such a big deal, but in my opinion, after that you've got to wonder why they're not dating more, or able to find someone compatible. Something is wrong.
