my wife and i are wanting to start a brand new profile and i'm wondering how to go about deleting this profile completely. if anyone out there can help us with that, we would be greatful. thanks again for everyone's great comments about my very naughty wife...

 

Send each of the mods $300, and send me $25 for telling you about it. The mods will delete your old profile and customize your new one for you.

But seriously, OP, profiles cannot be deleted. You can create as many new profiles as you like (you may have noticed the army of socks running around; what no one wants you to know is that XN really only has about 2 dozen members, the other tens of thousands are just sock accounts we all arbitrarily created to piss each other off ). If you want another profile, just create it, delete everything you can off this profile (all your info, pictures, even your friends if you want) and forget the password to it. This place is full of profiles that got created and then abandoned without it ever being cleaned up, so that is always an option as well.

You can edit your profile, user CP. You can't change your name.

The thing is, as we all know, people ridiculously create socks all the time.

If it is a matter of a new user name, you can just create a new one, too.

The only difficulty is eliminating what you already have posted. If you want to update or change the details of your profile: Easily done. If you want to create a new user name/identity: easily done.

I don't see what the problem is...

 

just create a new account, strip the old profile and put everything on the new profile.

Some people don't want to open a new profile for a simple name change, I was one of those people.
