Isnt it funny that you are fighting over what the average size of a penis is, and that bigger is better. You do know that the average woman can only handle like around 6 1/2 in. And from my point of view, the way to know if your big enough is to find out if you can make your partner orgasm, coz if you can do that, she isn't going to give shit for how big your dick is!!!

YES, Kinsey has been discredited because SELF-REPORTED MEASUREMENT IS NOT SCIENTIFICALLY ACCEPTABLE DATA.

As is typically done right here on the Forum, men CLAIM to be 9 inches long, but provide no proof (well, 95% of them don't). Also, those who provide PICS and say "here is my 9 inch dick" are not showing PROOF, because in a pic, without a measuring tape in sight, one cannot accurately tell how big or small something is, within at least 2 inches.

ALL (I will repeat ALL and I will re-repeat ALL) of the scientific/medical studies where men have been measured under LABORATORY conditions WITH MEDICAL STAFF DOING THE MEASURING average was found to be approximately 5.8 INCHES IN ERECT LENGTH, REGARDLESS OF RACE, WITH A SLIGHT MARGIN FOR ERROR (MEANING THE TRUE AVERAGE LENGTH IF EVERY MAN ON THE PLANET WERE MEASURED COULD BE ANYWHERE BETWEEN 5.625 and 5.975 INCHES IN ERECT LENGTH----REGARDLESS OF RACE).

Does this mean that there are not men out there with 9, 10, 11 or even 12 inch cocks? Of course not----they are there. But when you hear or see 75% of men claiming to have 7 inches or more, that is total bullshit.

 

I'm not arguing with anyone, but am curious what studies you are referring to, Ump? I'm interested in sample size, methodology, etc that were used. Sorry, but no matter how many times you say it or in what size font you use to say it, I'm not going to take your word for it. If you have the names of these studies, share them.

The original question was "what's the average penis size"...I think that's the focus of this thread, not the being able to sexually satisfy a woman with 'X" size dick.

In terms of dick size (as with any kind of human study), knowing the average (arithmetic mean) has limited use.

It'd be more useful to have other statistical measures to go by.

Abstract

PURPOSE:

We provide guidelines of penile length and circumference to assist in counseling patients considering penile augmentation.
MATERIALS AND METHODS:

We prospectively measured flaccid and erect penile dimensions in 80 physically normal men before and after pharmacological erection.
RESULTS:

Mean flaccid length was 8.8 cm., stretched length 12.4 cm. and erect length 12.9 cm (5.07 inches). Neither patient age nor size of the flaccid penis accurately predicted erectile length. Stretched length most closely correlated with erect length.
CONCLUSIONS:

Only men with a flaccid length of less than 4 cm., or a stretched or erect length of less than 7.5 cm. should be considered candidates for penile lengthening.
