i'm 5'5 which, lets face it, is short. ladies how much does height affect who you choose to be with?

 

Height has nothing to do with personality, so it shouldn't matter if you treat a woman with respect. Don't be a pushover, but don't be an asshole either. Somewhere in the middle. Assertive but polite...

 

My fiance is 5'6" which is perfect for me. I'm only 5'2" so it makes it nice. I don't have to look way up to see him, and he doesn't have to scrunch way down to kiss me, and when we cuddle we just fit. I've dated some guys in the past who were kinda tall, and it really made me feel like I was a little kid. I had to bend my arm up in order to hold hands with them. Not very comfortable. I say from my point of view, short is better.

 

I'd like to say hieght doesn't matter, but when I thought about it, I realized that most guys that have been around me for longer then one night.... were close to six feet tall or over. My husband is 6'5". I didn't even realize it until just now, because I don't think I pick people for thier looks, I go by personality. I'm only 5'5", you'd think I'd like 'em shorter.

Being tall is overrated as far as I'm concerned. I'm 6'4" and have yet to have a woman say she liked that I was tall. More of the time it's actually smaller girls who like the fact that I'm just a bigger built guy in general. You're shorter than average but you're not tiny. As long as you don't feel weird being with a woman who is of similar or taller height, don't worry about it.

I like shorter girls because they're easier to pick up and move around in bed :excited:

Maybe smaller girls feel protected around a bigger guy? I dunno.

I agree with jimbo98z, short girls feel protected with a taller guy. Well I know I do. I'm 4ft 11 and my bf is 6ft 1, quite a big height difference. I do feel protected around him. I'm not actually sure if it's the height or if it's his personality if you get what I'm trying to say.

 

I am your size too, my girlfriend is 5 inches taller. Come to think of it most of my girlfriends have been taller than me. Never in my life has it bothered me. If I liked someone I went for it, I think women like confidence a lot more then they like height.

 

You may be onto something here Jimbo, I know when I'm cuddling with my man I feel safe. And your right about the smaller women being easier to toss onto the bed, that's the fun part of being with a big guy is when it gets vigorous.

 

for some reason, I thought this was a dick length post. I was shocked when I read the 5'5". I think if I had a dick that big, I'd have to get it reduced. I can't imagine any girl that could ever stomach seeing one of those and knowing it's about to be inside her. Could you imagine the girth on that thing? jeez.

For me it's not about feeling protected. It's just my preference. I like 'em tall. . . over 6ft.

They say girls go for guys who have (some) similar traits to their father. My father's over 6ft tall. I like men over 6ft tall.

 

I like men close to my height and I'm 5'6", so 5'5" is fine by me. I prefer guys to be 5'10" or under. I think how you're built has something to do with it too. If you're 5'5" and slim you would seem smaller than if you're 5'5" and muscular.

 

While I may like guys taller than me, 90% of my guys have been shorter than me. I only feel weird about it if they feel weird about it. I am only average height myself.

 

I ain't a girl but I bet it's the same as it is for guys. Sometimes you gotta get past the differences to love someone. Sure you are short. I'm being honest. But if you have the right charisma, height is a non issue. It's about the person as a whole, not just the body.

 

For me, I'd like to say its all in the personality, and generally it is, but I dated a guy who was the same height as me, I'm 5'4, and it was awkward a little. Not everyone is the same, and no one is perfect, it's the "flaws" that you end up loving the most.

Well being only 5'1 myself, my hubby is 5'8, and his height is perfect for me- I don't feel like I have to get on a step-stool to kiss him. Either way, sexiness comes in all shapes and sizes, and I wouldn't judge anyone negatively for tallness OR shortness.
