So you're saying it takes thousands of cars to create more pollotion then one smoker? I'm not sure it takes that many but thank you for proving my point.

No I probably wouldn't survive but if you knew anything about cars you would know that it's not the pollotion that kills you.
Let me explain how it works - let me know if I use words that are too hard for you.....

Car engine goes "wroom, wroom" and use the air we breathe, and the closed door makes no air we can breathe come back in so we have no to air to breathe. Oh NO! That a big no-no, no air to breathe is bad.

On top of that the car also pumps out carbon-dioxide that isn't poisonous to us but makes us think we can breathe even though there's no oxygen in the closed environment. The gradual decrease in oxygen makes us get tired instead of choking and makes us go to a sleep we won't wake up from.

 

And those freedoms include the freedom to walk around without having to breathe in the smoke of others.

 

It's not apples and oranges. Both are legal for people of majority. Why should I need to tolerate watching someone drink? It offends me, and I could be killed when they get behind the wheel of a car. If you are offended by something legally done out in the wide open spaces, then you have issues. What happened to everyone just being considerate as opposed to violent?

Carbon monoxide is what comes out of the tail pipe and is deadly. It kills 2 to 3 thousand people each year in major city's. Carbon dioxide is also deadly it is used to put out fires.

But the worst kind of person generally is a reformed smoker (quit smoking) , not always but a lot of times ............... and I just quit last week , fuck me I hope I don't become one of them , lol .

An overlooked stat in this debate:

In 1970, 95% of all calls received by fire departments were for fires.

In 2010, 85% of all calls received by fire departments were for medical assistance.

The amount of house fires has gone way down. The main two reasons are better electricity wiring (-35%), and a drop in fires caused by sleeping smokers (-25%) (he/she fell asleep with a cigarette). There are other reasons, but these two are the big stats.

 

Those stats are not indicative of anything really since most states and provinces have an automatic call out of the fire department on ambulance calls as a safety issue and in case there is trouble reaching the sick/injured person .

Yes , I'm sure they will . I feel better already and was never a "heavy smoker" .......... five a day at most if I smoked on any given day but often went weeks without one . I'm one of the lucky one's that never needed to light up first thing in the morning or with coffee or after a meal .

Just after sex ........... I guess that's why I smoked so little , lol .

My mom's always been a heavy smoker...except for the 2 months after her surgery for a brain aneurysm...but she went back to smoking. When I asked her brain surgeon if we could let her smoke, he said HELL NO especially after he spent 4 hours operating on her and saving her life. He said smoking constricted the blood vessels to the brain and that was the last thing she needed. She spent 6 weeks in the hospital.

and yes Baller, smokers are being persecuted. It is not against the law to smoke. If it's that bad..ban it, criminalise it.....but don't take the moral fucking high ground.

I started smoking when I was13.
Stopped when I ws 50...I enjoyed smoking..still miss it.
Over the years I learnt to be considerate and reasonable about were I smoked.
Which is more than can be said for non-smokers.
But answer me this?...when you are at a party..and there are smokers outside...why does the party end up there too
