Even before the development of agriculture and metallurgy humans lived within the Arctic Circle, and in desert areas. I can imagine a catastrophe that would kill over 95 percent of the human population, but some people would survive.

Human evolution began six million years ago, so I think humans will be here four million years from now. By then, if not much sooner, humans will have colonized the moon, and Mars, and they may have changed the climate of Venus to make that inhabitable too. There might be people living on moons that go around Jupiter and Saturn. Humans may live on nearby planets in other solar systems, but the distances involved will make back and forth traffic impossible.

 

And yet there will still be some that I can't get far enough away from .......... in my after after after afterlife that is , since what we are talking about is ... well it is what it is .

 

I will have the pleasure of watching the demise of all those I dislike, damn it is gonna be fun watching the planets burn and the suns explode at the end of time.

 

On the bright side...at least you won't be around.
