  2. Hello,

You can now get verified on forum.

The way it's gonna work is that you can send me a PM with a verification picture. The picture has to contain you and forum name on piece of paper or on your body and your username or my username instead of the website name, if you prefer that.

I need to be able to recognize you in that picture. You need to have some pictures of your self in your gallery so I can compare that picture.

Please note that verification is completely optional and it won't give you any extra features or access. You will have a check mark (as I have now, if you want to look) and verification will only mean that you are who you say you are.

You may not use a fake pictures for verification. If you try to verify your account with a fake picture or someone else picture, or just spam me with fake pictures, you will get Banned!

The pictures that you will send me for verification won't be public

    Best regards,

I have to say... since early September it really seemed the Cardinals were destined to win the Series.

As a Cards fan, this one was really sweet.

Once the playoffs started, the Cards were my second choice (I was pulling for Detroit), but thank goodness Texas did not win. I respect that they are a really good team, but I don't like 'em.

    Congrats, Cards!

The Bush legacy probably taints your opinion.;)

But, this really turned into a much better series than I expected. Thursday night really deflated the Rangers, an improbable comeback that set the stage for Carpenter.

Congrats Card fans, good season and better end results.

Next year my Sox (Red ones) will kick ass to the end.

Cards will not fold....Rangers WASH up.....

Well this was a bitter-sweet deal for me....

Growing in a town with a Cardinal Farm team "the Arkansas Travelers" I went to many games at the ball park and rooted for the Cards on TV.

Living in Dallas for many years I have become a Ranger Fan. It felt good seeing the Cards win but I felt the heartache for the Rangers and the Fans...

Rangers won Back to Back ALS which has not been done in 10 years..
I am proud of the team and wonder what next year will bring...

I missed cashing a nice W/S ticket but have a good one to cash for the American League Pennant.

So I am off to Vegas for about 10 days....bet some sports, play some games, attend the SEMA Show......party and see some old friends.

That didn't HEIGHTEN my opinion of them, but I did not like the 2nd version of the Washington Senators BEFORE them, either, and the feeling traveled West.

There is no one I like in that division. Too bad they have to send SOME team to the playoffs (the A's would be barely acceptable)

What I liked about the matchup was that the combined salaries of both teams was less than the NYY's.

The teams are 11th and 13th respectively, the only other real AL contender, that has a lower salary structure, is the Rays.

Money is not necessarily the key to producing a winning team.

A cubs fan? Damn I feel bad for you, origen. But hey, you've got Theo now. Maybe he can turn things around.

I only hate the Cards this season because they eliminated my Phillies. I'm glad Carpenter got the win, and of course Freise(sp?) was a great story, and of course I'm glad Holliday won one because he's one of the best hitters in the game. I just can't stand Berkman is all. Still, he had a hell of a year, I will admit that.

You have to feel for Wainwright though. Bad year to lose a season.

There's nobody I really wanted to win on Texas either, and I can't stand Josh Hamilton. Such a douche.

    The Moment

It was very inspiring the way our crowd roared for Carpenter when he was walking off the mound after being relieved in the seventh. Wainwright, though lost for the season, spent about every inning of the season in the Card's dugout... Pujols' last game as a Redbird? Doubtful.

    WoW!

Grats Cards! Gearing up for the Parade in the best baseball town in the country.

You're welcome. The Forum's been on a little of a down side lately.

And just to not get off topic too far I have to admit even I was impressed with this World Series and can't ever remember seeing one quite like this one was.
