Traveling very fast doesn't let you go back in time...only forward. And we constantly travel forward in time.

 

I would go back to first century Judea, observe the ministry of Jesus, and find out what really happened. I would like to have an interpreter.

I'd like to go back and observe Jesus also. But I'd be scared he would look at me and know who I was and from when I came. It would be interesting to see his reaction.

personally I wouldn't wan to go back in time, when you change the past your alter the future, how many movies were made about that like seriously if you haven't learned from those, then you need to watch more movies. especially back to the future

 

The whole thing got written into the Bible as a result of a mistranslation. The original word in the Isaiah prophecy wasn't "virgin", but "young woman". But of course, the church couldn't fix the mistake, so instead, they doubled down and constructed this preposterous story about the virgin birth, and have been trying to explain it ever since.

much too limited. first off, I'd have to make sure it's a really big machine, something large enough I can haul some serious tonnage with me. then, I'd make a trip back in time with a stop at, say, Kabul as the Russians are getting ready to bug out. clear out one of their weapons dumps: a few thousand AK's, a few million rounds of ammo, some RPG launchers and grenades, maybe some plastic explosives and detonators. next stop: Hispanola, about five years before Columbus shows up. show the locals what all the nice 'toys' can do, and make sure they understand that the next white guy they see is going to want to take everything they have. hopefully old Chris would get an extremely warm reception....and white folks would stay home in Europe.
be an interesting experiment to see how the world would come out different if that happened. hell, who knows, given that type of firepower, it might be that Europe ends up being conquered by the American Indians! wouldn't that be a kick! :excited:

 

What would I do with a time machine?

I would go back to 1998 a slap George Lucas in the face. I would then tell him the necessary changes needed to turn Episodes I, II and III into movies worth of the Star Wars name.

Oh and I might give 1998 me winning lottery numbers, but that is a secondary objective.
