Im not a writer nor really a reader of the smut on this forum to be point blank, so even though my opinions hold no merit here I am curious. What the hell is all the fuss about?!

I could care less that a series was removed (the artist her self doesn't even care, why should I) or for what reason..every writer and reader here knows the age "guideline", partly because the topic has be debated to bloody death, but none the less everyone is aware of the "guideline" and the consequences should they violate it. So Im confused on what the sodding problem is.

She posted a story with an underage excerpt,was reported and the story removed..why all the pitch forks and torches??

Ps..I agree with Scotts on the fact that nothing is Non-erotic, Im sure there is at least one person on this hell hole of a forum that enjoyed and got off on the sentence she posted. Also agree that if you made it through that entire section with your sanity intact you deserve a medal. Bring on the mind bleach please...

 

From what I gather nobody denounced her or said anything against her. Someone just read the story that she wrote about a preteen girl getting a sharp nail studded dildo visiously jammed up her vagina by her adult uncle and reported it to a mod who removed it. I read the first two about Greta Fucks Her Ride and Greta Gets Gang Fucked but I had to skip Greta Watches Heatro Snuff and read Greta Fucks Her Uncle. From the titles alone it looked like she wanted to be reported by someone and someone just did it. Maybe some day we will learn what it was really all about and why she did what she did. Maybe it was just to call attention to herself or to her story. I was molested by a family member as a girl and it wasn't fun and I told her so.

DL is a very picky reader. He didn't like Mary's Christmas because of the foul language.

Yeah, the dickhead didn't like my story that won CAW 7 because he supposedly abhors prostitution. So, not only didn't he not vote for my story, which was fine, but he went over to the stories section, found it, and gave it four negative votes. That was a dick move.

 

This isn't about the merits of her writing which, although not to my liking, is very well done.
Its about content. Its about how the underage rulling can appear to be rigid and unforgiving.

Yes, smut. This is a porn forum is it not? I would say roughly 98% of the stories posted here are pornographic or vulgar in nature. Where I come from "smut" means porn. No idea (nor do I care) what it means where you come from. It wasn't meant as an insult but some will take it that way anyways since we all know its SO easy to detect tone in an online forum post.

Others have called this place far worse than a hell hole. I usually refer to it as the Mental Facility Orgy with the exception of the GD since its not usually about sex there. Now then..my level of respect for the writers here is none of your business unless I have specifically stated I disrespect you personally, which I haven't. There are a handful of writers here who I adore and believe they belong on the shelves of bookstores far more than some of the so called writers whose works currently sit there gathering dust. I have told Clarise many times that I value her as a writer. Some of her stories are a bit much for my tastes but I digress, I don't care that her series was removed because neither does she, and its nothing that I would have read anyways. Girls being anally raped with a nail laced dildo just doesn't do it for me..thanks though. Just as I am sure you neither know or care that some of the stories you wouldn't read have been removed.

Anyways, I am getting off the subject. The OP did not express an anger at the age rules, nuances or none, he/she expressed that there was some sort of "mole" among the writers when in fact it could have been anyone. That is what my curiosity was based upon, why the mob mentality when it probably wasn't even one of "your own" so to speak.

However now it seems as though the attack was not even directed at Miss. Clarise but at Ejls all the time, apparently to unearth some sort of favoritism.

Again, I was simply curious. One would think that you, of all members, could understand that emotion given your user name and all.

Please, everyone, do not pick on Amas-Veritas. I grow weary of saying this, but the "moralists" here are entitled to their opinions. First amendment, and all that.

Besides, I did not break the rules, and the "moralists" did not have the book removed.

Not only is it ironic that the "banned material" had been here in novel form for almost a year before I had it removed myself, but there is a bigger irony:

The novel's draft is 980,000 words long. (Yes, yes, I am cutting it down for publication as we speak.) Yes, it contains sex, but in fact very little, as a percentage of the total work. It is not porn. It is contemporary fiction, with some sex scenes.

Taken out of context, some of the sex scenes are pretty intense, and some of Greta's recollections truly are horrific. She is a psychopath, after all. But believe me, most of the book would bore many of you to tears. I do not mean that pejoratively. It is not a judgment. It is simply a fact that most people are here for short stories that have stroke potential. They are not here for novels that are bigger than War and Peace.

I did say I would never post a story here again. But maybe the best way to finally put this to rest would be to post some more of Greta's story.

The thing is, if one picks scenes from the novel randomly, one is almost certain not to hit anything remotely sexual in nature. Because it is not a sex story.

So that's what I'll do. Post scenes randomly. A new "Greta Series." New scenes, from the exact same source material that was reported and removed. Think of it as an official CAW10. Let's see if you can find anything to ban.

I, too, no longer post anything I've written here. Not even if it isn't underage. I could write something with all middle aged, adult characters and I still wouldn't post it here. It's a matter of principle.

And I have to assume that it's the same reason numerous other writers have made the same decision.

Too bad. This wasn't a bad place. Now, not so much. I check the forum regularly to watch the downhill slide continue. I would encourage any and all writers to follow the same principle. Censorship is like pregnancy. You can't just have a little bit.
