  2. Hello,

You can now get verified on forum.

The way it's gonna work is that you can send me a PM with a verification picture. The picture has to contain you and forum name on piece of paper or on your body and your username or my username instead of the website name, if you prefer that.

I need to be able to recognize you in that picture. You need to have some pictures of your self in your gallery so I can compare that picture.

Please note that verification is completely optional and it won't give you any extra features or access. You will have a check mark (as I have now, if you want to look) and verification will only mean that you are who you say you are.

You may not use a fake pictures for verification. If you try to verify your account with a fake picture or someone else picture, or just spam me with fake pictures, you will get Banned!

The pictures that you will send me for verification won't be public

    Best regards,

    Star Trek #1

After watching the original Star Wars and Empire Strikes Back the series deteriorated as others have mentioned. When I watched Empire again I wondered why I thought it was a good movie the first time! But Star Trek beats Star Wars hands down! Next Generation has great stories, and Voyager was pretty good too. Deep Space...well...eh...but the movie a couple years ago was very well done and I can't wait for it's sequel!
As far as 'hot chicks' go, Carrie Fisher looked OK as a slave to Jabba but that was the only titillating thing I saw in Star Wars. However, 7 of 9 had a great rack and Jerry is still hot in my mind. Others in Star Trek weren't trying to be sexy but still got my attention which means they were hot...without even trying!

If you only compare Star Wars (episode 4; the first released) and any single Star Trek film or episode, it is a tough choice.

Overall, though, STAR TREK wins hands down.

STAR WARS produced 2 excellent films, 1 OK film and 3 crap films.

STAR TREK produced 5 excellent films, 5 very good films and 1 crap film, as well as about 500 (of nearly 600) quality television episodes over 28 seasons.

I like Star Wars, the first three movies rocked. I LOVE Star Trek. The last Star Trek movie sucked! I don't care what fictional or real Navy or paramilitary space force you are in - no one goes from Cadet to Captain in 1 mission!!!!

I'd have to go with Star Trek. If you don't count any of the Star Wars movies after the original 3 , I'm down with Star Wars. Include anything after the original 3 movies, including the Star wars remasters, it's gotta be Star Trek. Looking forward to the sequel of the latest iteration of ST!

I love Star Trek but most of the movies are terrible. None of the TNG movies are better than mediocre. Star trek 5, Generations, and Nemesis are worse than all the Star Wars prequels.

I like both shows but if I had a gun to my head and had to pick it would be Star Wars all the way, but lets split the difference and name Firefly the best.

Its true that Star Trek had more diversity and "story lines" but every problem could be solved by modifying a tricorder to emit some mystery energy to convince the violent alien to go away or somebody would discover that the alien was just "misunderstood" and figure out a way to stimulate its clit or something to make it happy and prove their friendship.

Major catastrophies were always averted thanks to the quick thinking of the chief engineer who never held a wrench in his life but always had some majical energy tool that would miraculously solve almost any problem by venting some kind of voodoo power thingie into space or seal a major radiation leak just in time for everyone to not die of radiation sickness or explode.

Star Wars on the other hand didint delve all that far into the technicalities of why things were possible...they just were. Like how the hell does a light saber use pure energy but only extends a few feet from the emiter? But Star Wars wasnt afraid to slaughter people left and right with blasters and laser cannons the way humans actualy behave when confronted with violence. Thinking your way out of a situation in Star Wars meant being brave and blasting the bad guy or cutting off his head with a light saber. There was no "set phasers to stun" except in one case. Pricess Leah was the ONLY person in Star Wars to ever be afforded the stun option on an E-11 blaster. People in Star Wars had talent! They were awesom pilots, awesome with a light saber, awesome with a blaster and had balls the size of bread trucks. Star Trek had a bunch of thesbians from San Francisco who wouldnt hurt a fly and were always trying to find a more loving and gentle way to do things.

Who is the real hero? And who is the real villian? ---->

A hero who is a pirate and can fly a ship through an asteroid field versus a villian that can crush your windpipe with a thought and has destroyed planets.

    OR:

A hero that enjoys earl grey tea and reads a lot of old books versus a villian who cross dresses and has latent homosexual tendancies and a dramatic flair.

    The robots...

R2D2 and C3PO. Lots of personality and the little one is kinda cute too.

Commander Data. All the personality of a wet cardboard box. This is his only expression.

Seriously. With a handful of good writers not bent on Uncle Georges vision of crating a kids film, Star Wars could have crushed Star Trek like a bug on a windshield.
