A couple years ago my family and I were going to travel through western Europe (Spain, France, with a possible visit to Germany.). Alas, the economy went to hell and we had to cancel at the last minute. Instead we settled for a family cruise to Mexico, which was fun, the people are nice. The town we stopped in was extremely poor. Of course calling a town in Mexico poor is like calling an American a fatty, you're gonna have to be more specific.
