yeah that is the reason why I will never shave there again. I did it when I was younger and it was so itchy that I couldn't sit still at all and it was almost impossible to sleep at night for weeks until I got myself into a comfortable spot where they didn't itch as much. Honestly, it itches worse than when you first get pubes

 

I shaved once and I used to play a lot of soccer for a premiere team...for one, it lost all the padding so my equipment was alll over those shorts, 2 every time i kicked it felt like a thousand tiny dullish needles were poking me, now I just trim and keep it at like a half inch

 

I am on drumline and the harness hits low, we have old drums, and if I don't shave my pubes the harness pulls them off one by one as I walk, and I did also experience the prickling yall are all talking about, but I just kept shaving, and added a little conditioner and i got "used" to it I guess.

ive shaved since i started pubity when i was 12. ive never been into the whole 'hairy' look. You do get the inchyness problem but when u start the inchyness lasts 4 about a week but the longer you do it the shorter the amount of time it lasts, now its only ichy for about 2 days then its fine. For the ones out there talking about itching. I also always remove all pubic hair but not by shaving. Thats harsh. Their is a product called Magic that was designed for bald black men to remove hair and reduce the red bumps that appear after. Its a white power and you mix with a little water and apply. If your going to shave it, wipe conditioner in and let it sit for a little, wet and you wont itch! I swear to god (Crew Conditioner) tis what i use works like good, I now shave around like an inch off the top so i can hang my pants low without hair, looks uber sexii

 

Funny. If I did that, there would be a noticeable gap of bald belly above the pubes but below the belly hair!

First time I did this I was very young, and didn't do it well, and it itched like CRAZY. Never did that again, but I did keep myself trim. A few years ago, about age 20, i decided to shave for giggles, I used hot water and alot of shave cream. I never knew my skin was so soft down there. I definately will never let it get long again.

 

I keep it cut shorter, don't really like having to shave it all the time.
