This is an act of desperation by Obama who is seeing his chances of reelection go down the toilet. He knows amnesty for illegals isn't popular. Normally he wouldn't do this as it will likely do him more harm than good. It's not likely that giving up to 800,000 work visas to illegals at this time will be very popular amongst people looking for work. Maybe he figures he's lost the support of anyone looking for work anyway.

But he's terribly desperate right now. Everything has been going wrong for him. He's running out of good options so he's now trying stuff like this to get the numbers to move in his direction. So although this will probably hurt him in the polls, he has try something.

 

He is getting everything ready to rebuild the army so Mitt can invade Iran....

Our Glorious Leader has defied the Judicial Branch, the Legislative Branch, and the will of the people by declaring policy through imperial fiat, just days before the Supreme Court is expected to overturn Eric Holder's bullshit challenge to Arizona's new inspection laws.

Presidents are allowed to do a lot of things simply by executive order. You can't not know that. Eisenhower federalizing the troops, Nixon taking us off the gold standard. Not one consultation with Congress. Shocking!

Since I don't believe any of the news stories is questioning the legality of the move, you appear to be barking up the wrong tree. You might remember the recess appointments he recently made, arguably something he couldn't do because Republicans were technically keeping Congress in session. Republicans were up in arms...and the press reported it right along. Until you see real-life Republicans questioning the legality of this move, feel free to shelve your pretend-life position as a constitutional expert.

 

I disapprove of what President Obama did, and think it is a bad move politically.
