I reported that a story of mine that I posted here ('Team Mother') was copied and reposted (as 'Mrs. Chase: The MILF') by AJ_Cook about a month ago. The plagiarized story is still available here.

Now, a second story of mine ('Texting Mom') has been copied and reposted (as Sexting) by ufester2.

This wouldn't bother me if the admins here at XNXX were willing to respond to such incidents in a timely manner. The fact that this doesn't seem to be the case leads me to believe there is little respect here for the writers who are providing them with free content for their site, and that they are content to leave the plagiarized stories in place because it doesn't matter to them that the rightful author is credited, as long as it brings visitors in to the site. This apparent lack of consideration for the writers and their works is very distressing for me.

I had hoped that I had found an ideal outlet for my raunchy stories, but it's beginning to look like this isn't the place for someone who cares about their writing. I put a lot of time, effort, and love into my work and I hate to see it minimized by the incomprehensible stealing that is allowed to go on here. I know this is happening to other writers on the site, which is very unfortunate.

I'm leaving on vacation this weekend for a week. If, when I return, the stolen stories are still available here then I'm afraid I will no longer be able to participate as a writer in the XNXX.com community. I don't want to sound like a whiny brat, but I don't think I'm asking for too much.

Question: are the stories on the story site or on the forums?

If they are on the forums, then you should be able to PM one of the mods for assistance. If they are on the stories site, however, there could be difficulties due to lackadaisical attention being given to that area. HOWEVER, the mods here would probably be the best starting point to get to the other side.

 

I can't believe they did this to you again. The idea of steeling someones story makes me VERY ANGERY!

I don't want to see you leave KB but I would understand 100% if you chose to do so. My only problem if this happened to me would be that I don't know any other site like this that allows you to post and get feedback in the mannor this one does.

I was really angery when someone took SomeStory's story "Three Evil Sissters" and decided to write their own ending to it, I was angry when I heard that you and Daddycums had your stories cut and pasted by someone. I would be livid if it happened to me and I'm sure I wouldn't just stand by and do nothing, so do what you feel is best but please try to work with the mods before you leave us.

To me cutting and pasting someone elses work and putting your name on it is an offence for which one should be drug out into the street and shot. I'm sorry your story was stolen again KB and I really hope this all gets resolved.

Belle am soo sorry this has happened to you this is an outrage! If the mods don't look into this I agree with you leaving. I have enjoyed your stories greatly, it would be a big loss as far as i''m concerned.

 

Don't forget, after that person started writing more to the 3 sisters story (Dusk I think it was who Continued the story) , someone else came in and less then a month after that, and they copy pasted all of it. Somestory's work and the continuation and tried to pass it off as "Here's a story I found that I liked." He also did that to a story that had been posted years earlier but had been reposted just three days before that.

And this story of KB's, this dude didn't even wait 2 days for the final part to just copy paste it all

 

Bottom line to me is that if you didn't write it you don't have the right to re-post, continue or touch someones story in ANY way.

A lot of readers don't realize the work that gos into a story. The nights your up all night trying to just get the words out of your head. The friends who are sick of hearing you talk about the plot and what happens next.

So when I see someone steel anyones work I view it as a capital crime. I hope the mods can help KB with this issue and we don't have to lose her.

 

Don't forget

The mods people keep referring to (ejls, Jamie90, and smcaaphd) only have powers here, on the forums. They have nothing whatsoever to do with the Sex Stories site, http://stories.xnxx.com/, and are just other readers and writers there, like the rest of us.

So if the problem is here on the forums, hit the report button (the little exclamation point in a triangle) in the lower left corner of the offending post. That sends you to a field where you state the problem, and when you submit your message, it goes to all three mods automatically. The first one who wakes up or comes home from her real job will deal with it or contact you with questions.

If the problem is on the Sex Stories site, go to the "Contact us" link and plead your case, if you haven't already. Do it daily. Don't threaten, don't caps-lock yell, but state your problem. Just send the same message once a day.

PM our forum mods, also. They don't have the time to keep up with all threads, so they may not have seen this one. State your problem to them, giving links and whatever other pertinent info you have, and ask them to forward a message to the administration. You only have to do this once, and they'll do what they can.

It appears that the Sex Stories site is on autopilot 99.9% of the time, but it generates zero income for the site owners, so they don't fund a lot of man-hours per year for dealing with user concerns.

I'm still amazed by the stupidity of the whole thing. A plagiarist scumbag so dumb that he/she/it re-posts on the same site the story was stolen from. That's like parting-out a stolen car on the street across from the owner's house, or trying to bury a body in the front yard of the police station.

 

Totally agree with you. It's people like this that has stopped me from posting anything else here. I mean to steal a story is bad, but to steal it less then 48 hours after the last chapter was posted is just a total douche move. Then there's the little morons who side with the thief.

It's like they sit in their mom's basement and think. "Gee, no one could have read that story 3 days ago that's still getting high praise and holding a 90+ rating. No one will notice that I "wrote" the same exact story (but with a new title), I'll fool them all!!! MwaHAhahahahaha!!

 

Some people. Everyone knows you bury the body to the side of the police station. But yeah, taking it from the same site, when some people have a healthy fan base, is just stupid. But like I stated before, Taking it when it's less then three days old is too moronic for words.

 

I'm wondering if they've ever considered recruiting some volunteer admins/mods for the story site. I'm sure there are plenty of folks who would be willing to pitch in and help maintain the 'integrity' of the story section.

I just don't understand the motivation for stealing a story from this site, then reposting it a few days later to the same site (especially when the original is still lingering in the Top Stories section on the front page for all to see!). It would make sense if there was some sort of financial benefit, but how can these dopes be deriving any pleasure from getting a few positive comments from readers who don't know that they're not the real author? Very strange.

 

Don't forget the comments where people defend what he did.

Now I'll admit, I haven't pulled out my official red marker, like the ones that my old English teacher used to buy in bulk when I went to school, and looked over both for the little changes, but even if he did edit it, like the "Anonymous people" claim, he still stole it. Hell, I swear 90% of the people saying how great it is is just the person that took it.

So far my most fav comment from the past few days is the guy who told the writer how great the story is, but he forgot to log out, so you can see it's the writer saying how great his story was, and people are calling him on that.

Honestly I think the story site has been over-run by teens, like between the ages of 13 to 18 and none of them understand the work that goes into writing a story. Hell, I'd expect to see one of them post Harry Potter, straight from a book, but I think they are too lazy to type that much.

I looked at the post he stole and there is no doubt that its yours.
I gave his a neg vote to push him down on the list.
If everyone does that to him it won't undo his theft but his copy will sink down the list.
The stories on this site are some of the best ever I can't believe he thought no one would notice.

Hmm...a few things to comment on here.

First, I haven't look for the story nor have I seen the defending comments. IF they are comments from people who just set up an account (or anonymous ones), then it easily could be the same person. Sock accounts are easy to set up. Regardless, I understand that it's annoying.

Second, this is the interwebz, and stories here are going to get scraped by robots and then posted elsewhere. Fact of life. The fact that this story was posted on the same site, heh, that just shows either how stupid the poster was, or, perhaps they did it just to piss you off, KB. You know, perhaps you got a PM from someone, they wanted something from you, you ignored them or told them to piss off, and now they are mad at you, and this is their revenge...taking your stuff and reposting it.

You can blame the site, whatever, but again, you're not paying anything to be here and you do get to publicize your blog outside of xnxx, so, there's a trade off. You supply some content, you get some publicity. Quid pro quo. What you'd have to do is weigh the idea of leaving and losing another freebie publicity outlet vs. the indignity of having your story stolen.

I've had plenty of mine swiped. I don't think they've been posted here, but they have been swiped and posted on other websites. I take it with a grain of salt, figuring that maybe if it sucked, no one would care to copy it.

You seem to have developed a bit of a fan club here...hopefully you'll stick around and not be driven off by a few idiots. While having good writers here doesn't bring in $$ for the site owner, it does provide entertainment for the masses.

 

While I haven’t seen the comments on this particular story defending the story thief in many other cases I have seen commentators doing the same. Sometimes it may be the actual thief attempting to ‘defend’ their actions or make it seem that others are but I think it happens too frequently to be that alone.
　
I also don’t wish to just blame ‘the kids of today’ but there is certainly very little respect for intellectual property during this time. Whether its bootlegged movies or illegally downloaded songs as well as what we see here people think if they ‘benefit’ or save money its okay. Its not and that is a problem of morals and ethics or lack thereof.
We should all know by now if we post stories on the internet they will be stolen somehow, someway. But there is a difference between a bot stealing from one site and posting at another (worse in many ways) and what happened here. I can’t understand what satisfaction someone gets from taking a story here, changing the title and putting their handle on it. Do they get some perverse thrill from it? Somehow think they’ve earned whatever praise the story receives? Incomprehensible.
　
I hate to see any writer leave due to this but we all have to decide what we think is best for ourselves. And while I understand that the site doesn’t actually have advertising on the story site (or forums) I know that it was the story site that brought me and many others here. No doubt the owner(s) isn’t providing us this site and forum for altruistic reasons out of the goodness of their heart(s) so it stands to reason that it helps bring numbers to the overall xnxx site which is good for business. If I or anyone else who comes here goes to the video page as well there is the walk in customers that they are looking for.
　
And I have a suspicion, though certainly no proof, that at least some of the spy ware and redirects that often ‘infect’ the forum and story site may be tacitly allowed by ownership, whether directly or in exchange for lucre. If they weren’t benefiting financially from the story site and forum they wouldn’t be here. There are plenty of video clip sites that don’t provide them, but here they are doing it to be nice to us?
Still up to each person to decide what’s best for them but these thieves are lowlives. Just saying.

Kinkybelle. Remember you have thousands of readers with your stories. Both series is at or near the top of the list. We know you put out some of the best stories on this site. That is why I am here. Please do not leave here just because of a few dimwits that don't know what integrity means. We love your work. In real life stories, cars, cell phone all get stolen. Fact of life. Even with police and punishment it will still happen. Sorry it happened to you, more than once. That just shows the quality of your work, and why some idiot wants credit.
