You can now get verified on forum.

The way it's gonna work is that you can send me a PM with a verification picture. The picture has to contain you and forum name on piece of paper or on your body and your username or my username instead of the website name, if you prefer that.

Please note that verification is completely optional and it won't give you any extra features or access. You will have a check mark (as I have now, if you want to look) and verification will only mean that you are who you say you are.

You may not use a fake pictures for verification. If you try to verify your account with a fake picture or someone else picture, or just spam me with fake pictures, you will get Banned!

No, you prefer to deal with vanilla questions, how about an answer to the question I posed earlier, or is it too difficult for you.

Legally the IRS can't publish his tax returns, and the real issue about showing his returns stems from his claims about what his real relationship with Bain. He says one thing, public revords show something else. Nothing Romney has done is illegal, it just calls into question his credibility.

I do not recall wishing you to die a horrible death. I seem to remember you wishing that for me, or perhaps it was only a prediction.

I call bull shit on that, you provided the ammunition and certainly endorsed his remarks, never once telling your friend that it was wrong, even after other members prompted you. As for the second item you can now see why I dismiss your claim to be M of F, but rather a dismal guy who cannot remember all he posts.

In pointing out that you have cancer I was only repeating what you have acknowledged yourself. I would be able to sympathize with you if you were not so abusive. You started the acrimony between us when you flamed me whenever I said something nice about deidre79. Until then I had not noticed you.

For the record, I do not want you to die. I would like for you to leave me alone, however.

    October surprise conspiracy theory

What did Ronald Reagan do to Iran that was so horrible?

There is reason to believe that he cut a deal with Iran to hold the hostages until after the election in return for weapons.

    ----------

The October Surprise conspiracy theory refers to an alleged plot to influence the outcome of the 1980 United States presidential election between incumbent Jimmy Carter (D–GA) and opponent Ronald Reagan (R–CA).

One of the leading, national issues during that year was the release of 52 Americans being held hostage in Iran since November 4, 1979.[1] Reagan won the election. On the day of his inauguration, in fact, 20 min after he concluded his inaugural address, the Islamic Republic of Iran announced the release of the hostages. The timing gave rise to an allegation that representatives of Reagan's presidential campaign had conspired with Iran to delay the release until after the election to thwart President Carter from pulling off an "October surprise".

According to the allegation, the Reagan Administration rewarded Iran for its participation in the plot by supplying Iran with weapons via Israel and by unblocking Iranian government monetary assets in US banks.

After twelve years of mixed media attention, both houses of the US Congress held separate inquiries and concluded that the allegations lacked supporting documentation.

Nevertheless, several individuals—most notably former Iranian President Abulhassan Banisadr,[2] former Naval intelligence officer and National Security Council member Gary Sick; and former Reagan/Bush campaign and White House staffer Barbara Honegger—have stood by the allegation. There have been allegations that the plane crash that killed the Portuguese Prime Minister, Francisco de Sá Carneiro, in 1980 was in fact an assassination of the Defence Minister, Adelino Amaro da Costa, who had said that he had documents concerning the October surprise conspiracy theory and was planning on taking them to the United Nations General Assembly.

So, Romney "barely even bothers with Obama", and yet he "won't keep just his damned mouth shut" about it...

Jeez, even the Republican base is talking out of both sides of the face, all so that Romney doesn't have to.

And I wish you to learn the definition of flaming, people disagreeing with you is not flaming, if you start a dialogue in a public forum you have to expect posts that disagree with yours, but no, all you see is flames.

This is not a rational rebuttal of one of my arguments. It is a personal insult. As a result it is typical of what you post.

I meant it figuratively, but any drubbing that Iran takes, from anyone, I see as a good thing. Since I do not think they are speaking figuratively when they say they would like to wipe Israel off the face of the earth, and since I happen to think that would be a bad thing.

There is also reason to believe that there was a second gunman on the grassy knoll.

Interesting theory. No one can prove it. It is equally likely that Reagan simply made the phone call to Iran his first order of business. Something to the effect of, "There's a new sheriff in town, podner."

    Yeah, yeah.

Israel has compulsory military service. We do not even have a draft. Israeli youth have bled for us since 1948.

That $3 billion per annum does not keep rockets from hitting the country from all sides.

That $3 billion per annum does not give Israel a reliable endgame, should they have to go it alone in Iran.

That $3 billion per annum is barely adequate to protect Israel's technological and intellectual capital exports, on which we desperately depend, since the majority of U.S. VLSI firmware is engineered there.

DistantLover attributes "genetic superiority" to Israeli dominance in physics, mathematics and engineering. I strongly disagree with him on causation, but no reasonable, educated person can deny Israel's contributions to what passes for Western civilization.

We owe Israel for our way of life, dweeb. At $3 billion per year, we are getting their services cheap.

The capital of Israel is Jerusalem, dweeb. Jerusalem.

Personally I cannot stand Romney, and I won't vote for him, but I can't let this stand. More left-wing crap. The desperation intensifies.

Romney is said to be worth around $140 million. A 10% tithe on his worth would be about $14 million, right?

You say he has money off the Caymans. How much? Let's be generous. Let's double his worth. That would make the tithe $28 million. Right?

Below is a picture of the temple that the Mormons built in Romney's Massachusetts home-town of Belmont. No, Mitt and Ann did not single-handedly build it. Not quite.

    They only contributed $30 million.

I sincerely doubt the Mormon elders will be dunning Mitt and Ann for another pound of flesh anytime soon.

It is nothing but opinion for anyone to claim we owe our way of life to Israel... kind of makes you wonder how we survived the first 150 of our existance without them.

Were you not complaining about others calling you names? Don't really practice whsat you pontificate...

It is not necessary to invade Iran. All we need to do is subject the country to a month or so of really hard bombing.

First we take out their anti aircraft facilities. Then we destroy their missile sites. Then we bomb every possible nuclear site.

I suggest a huge parachute drop of very large solar powered stereo systems playing loud decedent American rock and roll music. If the British to to help we can include their bands in the playlist. That should bring them to their knees.

Sticks and stones, my socklike friend, sticks and stones.

I am not complaining about being called names. It amuses me. I am complaining about all the limp-wristed-Mother-Mary-dweebs around here who can dish it out but can't take it.

Back to topic. Got an iPhone? Got an iBook? Got an iPad? Thank Israel. They're assembled in China, but most of their chipsets are designed in Israel, and most of the programming for IC board manufacture is done there. Same goes for most Android devices, most cellular phones, and a large percentage of WinTel devices. VLSI engineering is the work that Americans don't feel like doing, and that the Central and Southern American immigrants (for the most part) can't do.

Do we literally owe them our way of life? No, I suppose not. Someone would do the programming for the world's precision silicon lithography machines, I suppose. As to who would do it, I guess it's just... well... a matter of opinion.
