I hate seeing guys/girls with hickies on their neck. It just looks dumb. I never had one and I usually end up dumping the guy/girl if they insist or pressure themselves into doing it.

 

Love the intense neck sucking but, don't even try to leave a mark it's juvenile!

 

High school was hickie central.... Why would I want to look like that again? At 42 it would just look stupid.

I personally don't like getting them anywhere, I don't Ming giving someone a hickie, but if your gonna have a hickie make sure it's somewhere where no one can see it!... I think that they look trashy and I dont find themnto be "sexy looking" in any way....

 

I want to qualify my positive vote by saying that I love giving hickies, always have. Getting them, well... As long as it's in a place where normal clothing can cover it, I'm all for it. But I've never liked having one on my neck...

I've given them and gotten them, never on purpose. It's just that sometimes you or the other person gets so focused elsewhere that the mouth just keeps doing what it was doing where it was doing it.

I had an ex that would scratch the shit out of my back and leave either a hickie or a bite mark on my shoulder because she was trying not to be too loud when she came. I see them as the occassional "cost of doing business".

Of course, I had another ex during highschool that wanted me to give her one on her neck at least once a week so she could piss off her ultra-religious parents. Hell, if they knew what else I was doing with their precious angel, besides the hickies, they would have dropped dead from heart attacks.

Yes! I love my neck sucked or bit. Sometimes he gets carried away. Sometimes there is a mark. I'm not happy about it but I can't be mad. I just wear my hair down and its never a huge or nasty one...eww.

Oh and another ex-girlfriend bruised easily and she had this beautiful pale alabaster skin so even a moderate level of sucking would cause a hickie. She didn't mind them though and told me to never apologize for giving them to her, afterall she'd enjoyed what I was doing when she got them.

I've learned a technique for giving the feeling of a Hickey with out leaving a mark. Though I do love leaving a mark on my fiance when she doesn't have school for a while. Its kind of like marking my territory.

Hickies are rather annoying, espcially at my age, however they are fun to make them in areas that cannot be normally seen. My favorite place to make them is the inner thigh.

 

As long as they stay out of the line of sight, then it can be great fun.

On the neck - feels good but looks trashy.

At my friend's workplace, the managers make their staff wear a bright blue plaster/bandaid over hickies that are in sight. We call them 'plasters of shame'.

 

I love the feeling one gets when acquiring them, and in my younger days they were like trophies; however, as we get older they become unsighly. A year ago (I'm in my mid-late forties), Mrs Me4 gave me a couple during a particularly steamy session, and I had to use make-up to cover them over. It didn't work, and my colleagues had a field day. Talk about embarrassing!
