Hey, men and women have an equal right to die in defence of their country or for their government's hidden agendas.

But men are still required, by law, to register themselves for selective service. Women arent.

 

This is because when you hear certain progressives howling for an end to racial or gender discrimination, they merely mean they wish discriminate against the right sort of people.

Once again we hear the cheers of equality! when we hear of women serving on the front line -- and yet, so long as they are not forced to register for the draft, there is no equality. Merely a choice given to women and withheld from men.

The same is of course true of insurance. Men pay more for car insurance because they cost insurers more on average. No one complains. Yet, when a few insurers attempted real "equality" by making women pay more for health insurance, just as men did for car insurance, and for the very same reason(they cost more to insure), these companies were crushed and derided as "sexist." Equality?

In perhaps the greatest BIG LIE to touch our country since the cold war, we are all being treated to a show of rallying for equal pay for women. "Equal pay for equal work," they wail. And yet, when working in the same field, and for the same amount of time, women make 7% MORE than their male counterparts. Equal pay for equal work indeed...Of course, this simple fact is avoided, and we all go on weeping for the suffering of women. But were the fact to see daylight? Were the BIG LIE to be put to ground. Do you think anyone would wail "equal pay for equal work" on behalf of men? Equality?

And racial equality? Well, this "equality" is demonstrated by affirmative action discrimination against whites in favor of blacks and hispanics. This "equality" is seen in diversity requirements, which favor "diverse" employees over more qualified employees. True racial equality would of course mean seeing no race, and simply rewarding merit. What a trick that would be.

So here we stand, with the spoiled women of the west once again demanding the same rights as men, but never suffering the same requirements for those rights. No one believes in equality. Simply being on the right side of inequality.

 

What about tennis? They play generally less than 2/3 of the game but get paid the same amount of money. Shocking!

Otherwise I'm all for women's equality rights, it's just the tennis thing that annoys me. :excited:

 

Women's rights is a long passed fog, and the idea of being "for equal rights for women" ought to be buried in whichever cemetery that fog now hangs. Women in the west have the same rights, and, as I mentioned, in some cases far more rights than their male counterparts. Being "for women's rights" is meaningless, and is now as redundant as being "for integration in athletics," or perhaps, "for freezers that keep things cold."

When I sent in the gender war was already in motion women could serve/support front lines troops but not actually be on the front line but anyone who knows the military there is no such thing your either there or your not.....my point is that for years and years women were screaming about equality and the US Government got tired of the rhetoric and the lobbying, etc. and gave in to what I mentioned above.....women bleed the same color as men....they have the same basic bone structure, i.e. a skeleton eventhough it is different.....they have a brain...about the only thing a woman can do is have a child....no Im in support of them SUPPORTING FRONT LINES TROOPS but not actually be ON the front lines....a man will kill himself trying to save a woman it is bred into us unless that person/man in question is a complete pussy...so there are 2 down instead of 1....not being harsh on women but they cant have their cake and eat it too!!!

ive watched medics be forced to fire back and some were females

ive watched logistics specialist have to fight

and i do owe my life to a female medic that pulled my ass out of fire when i was hit and then she went back for my rifle

SOME Women have proven they can be every bit as physical as men, perhaps not at the very top level, but plenty enough to make the grade, exceed some male soldiers and definitely meet the standards required by the army. However, we must remember there are a few days a month where women are emotionally compromised, some physically. This sounds sexist, but this is just a fact of life.

Placed in a super high stress situation, armed with weaponry, the added weight associated with the stigma of being a woman, does not sound like optimal circumstances. I'm not saying they wouldn't be able to function, or do what is required of them, however there is a compromise there.

 

When I was a commercial river guide, back in the 70's, the company was one of the first to recruit women as guides. Before that, about the only well known woman guide was Georgie White. She was universally acknowledged to be crazier than a shit house rat.

The company recruited them because the owners liked women. We had the most comprehensive training of anyone at the time, and I believe, even of today. Women got no special consideration. They were expected to do everything any male was expected to do, including row a 28 foot bridge pontoon using oars that weighed 40 Lbs. each. They were expected to deal with the porta pot, maintain the equipment, drive the trucks, and run the boats. River training was intentionally done starting in April to guarantee at least one trip in the snow. Most of the newbies quit with the first snow, or when they saw their first real whitewater.

Women were not as strong as men. They rarely had the stamina, and they did not have the "fuck that was scary lets do it again" attitude most of the men had.

But, they were as good as any man as guides. They learned how to finesse the rapids, rather than muscle through them. They learned to take the easier way to get things done. They were better guides in many ways because they were more risk adverse than men were when passengers were around. And I don't know why, but cold didn't bother them as much as it did the men. Invariably, when it got cold the men were huddled around the campfire, and the women were gathering wood.

The point is, any differences between men and women will ultimately be adjusted for by the troops. The only difference I can think of that may cause issues is that women won't be able to pee standing up.

And I know from past experience; you piss off a woman enough and they will smile while they castrate you. A man will just kill and eat you.

I think everything should be equal. If women want equality for other thinks such as pay or job and education opportunities then they need to step up and be willing to fight on the front lines and sign up for the draft. If women want to pick and choose what they do and don't do than they aren't as valuable as a man and that's why men should get better job opportunites, pay, and education.

I believe in equality but don't sit here and say you should get equality for everything except stuff like the draft that isn't so awesome. That's not how the world works.
