I had no idea that picture are banned on Personals threads, but here is proof that pictures are not only banned, but one will be threatened to be banned if one does so:

I can't find anything in the rules that stipulates that pictures are banned from Personals threads.

Where does it state the pictures are banned on Personals threads in the rules?
Am I misunderstanding the rules, or is this some arbitrary bullshit?

The reason given was not that they were from Facebook, but that they were posted in the Personals section.

I know. What I'm saying is that the reason given for removal of the picture (because "pictures not allowed on personals" [sic]) is not a rule described in the posted rules. Your copypasta of the rules regarding pics do not specify that no pictures are allowed in the Personals section, it simply says what types of pictures are not allowed. The picture that was removed may have been of a non-allowed variety, but that was not stated in the reasoning given.
