Where is this long way? Where exactly in the west are women not treated equally under the law? I grow so tired of this endless "war for women's rights." Like most soldiers, feminists simply refuse to move on. The war is over. The rights are equal, and, in many cases, heavily favor women. Are we at a point where it is whine for the sake of whining?

 

Whoa dude chill, what I meant was more or less how women are treated in general not just with the law. There are a lot of double standards when it comes to the sexes. And not just in America but in other countries a woman can be beaten to death and raped and the only question that is asked is "What was she doing out that late? She was asking for it."

I know we'd all like to believe that women are now treated as equals but we both know that isn't always the case. And as I've said we have made great strides in improving discrimination with women but the fact is that women still struggle to be considered equals with men. I know women who work on planes and are harassed all the time simply because its a 'boys club' and there aren't many women in that profession. And because their supervisors were taught it was okay to treat women this way in the past they allow it to continue. It happens all the time.

 

Or they can keep their fuckin hands to themselves. While I acknowledge that having good protective measures is great, I still think we need to correct the behavior and way of thinking that they are allowed to do that instead of finding better ways to protect ourselves.

 

Equal rights?

How often does the court favour the father over the mother and who has the most limited limited access to their children?

After a Divorce, all things being equal who usually gets to keep the house?

How serious is domestic violence treated when the victim is male?

How serious is sexual harassment treated when the victim is male?

Why do women get smaller prison sentences for equal crimes?

Can women get called up for service in a draft ?


The Feminist movement was needed in the 60s. Now it is nothing but a joke. There is absolutely no need for it in Western society. Feminists don't want equal rights, they want better rights for women than men.

 

Just stop. If you think women are treated poorly in matters of rape, consider that in many countries, male-male or female-male rape is not even considered a legal possibility. You're right that (a few) people make excuses for the rape of women. Yet you somehow gleaned over the fact that those same people do not even believe the rape of a male to be possible, let alone noteworthy.

For every one instance you can find of women "not being treated equally," I assure you that I can find five of men not being treated equally. You can begin with DeviousDave's post, and that is only the tip of the iceberg. Your point is a non-point. Put down the mantle of victim-hood. You have no idea how tiresome it is to hear about "inequality" from the gender which is commonly treated with preference under the law.

 

When feminists demand that female murderers and pedos be treated the same under the law as their male counterparts when it comes to the matter of punishment then---and only then---will I start to believe that they actually believe their own BS about male/female equality.

Are you telling me there is a shortage of women, or that the minorities can fight under the banner of equal rights alongside the females who still want equality but always let the door to the store slam shut behind them, tell their husbands they are equal but never buy a drink or slip the money to them making him look like he is a kept man?

I kept the house, and the kids but then we had a no problems agreement with access, just turn up and you can see them just keep out of my home, till I lost the house and she took the kids and never told me where she lived.

We have never had a draft, just conscription which starts when when you hit 18, that is if parliament enacts it. As we can see there will be no truly global wars in the future then it will not be re-enacted. We have a truly voluntary set of Armed Forces so any female joining and choosing a career path in any of the Teeth Arms can be expected to fight at the front.

They do. Every time some female teacher fucks a male student, it's always men who are saying things like "good for that kid" and "that would be my dream come true." Not feminists. A big part of feminist ideology is fighting against the notion that women are dainty and need to be protected, which is the sexist notion that leads to female criminals being treated better than male criminals.

 

Remember the Tennessee preacher's wife who shot her husband in the back while he was in bed and and then ran off to Florida with her kids.

Compare what she got with what a man would have gotten for doing the same thing to his wife.

They're not speaking up. I didn't hear jack from the feminists about the case I mentioned above...except for statements from them about the preacher man probably deserving it.

Plenty of feminists have spoken up against the notion that men can't be raped and women can't be rapists. What feminist websites and publications are you reading?

And like all sane people, feminists oppose the draft for everyone. If feminist's goal was to keep women out of the army, then they wouldn't have fought to allow women in combat zones. It isn't the feminists who created or maintain the male-only draft. It's men, the same men who fought to keep women out of combat zones. You can't really blame feminists for something that they had nothing to do with. The blame falls on men who are convinced women are too dainty to fight, the same men that feminists fought against to get into combat zones.

And the reason women get lesser sentences is because of the same preconceived notion that women are daintier. Feminists routinely fight against this notion. You're pointing out ways in which a sexist system is making your life difficult, and it's that sexist system that feminists fight against.
