I was in a very sad marriage two years ago. My wife fell in love with religion and that was the end of us. Looking back it was my fault dragging it out so long but I tried to remain faithful for years. At the end we actually went over a year with no sex. I picked up my date from her work when I got to town. We went back to the hotel, had a couple of drinks and it was on.
When I got back to town, I was so rejuvenated and energized from the experience, I was hooked, I became maybe a bit of a womanizer but I always showed my women the time of their life. There is something said for a relationship that is taboo that makes it so exciting. That spark between you two is completely primal and untamed. Since then, I have split up with my wife and I have to say, I could not be happier.

Sex brings health and happiness. With sex such a part of a persons life I'm always amazed at men and women who are living a sexless life. If my wife was refusing sex, our marriage would end. Period.

I have cheated on my wife, but not with any other woman, only with other men. I'm one of those guys who has satisfied their curiosity and found it curiously satisfying.

No judgment here. It's a big fantasy of mine as well. I'd never cheat on my husband in real life but that doesn't stop me from rubbing one out to the idea. I find that for some reason this forum doesn't seem to have much discussion on this. Which is weird how it seems to be chastised so much considering the plethora of threads dedicated to incest or bestiality. (Mind you I'm not saying those who do enjoy those threads are wrong just saying) Just seems odd that adultery gets more flack than other taboo subjects. I suppose because most people have actually been affected by such but still eh...and again this is just my experience on the forum.

oddly enough, my wife claims to have no fantaies but has cheated several times.

 

I feel bad about it but I have cheated on everyone I've ever had a relationship with. The bad thing is I can admit it here, but have denied it to the bitter end to them and even kind of to myself. I always make some excuse to myself why it is ok. The really messed up part is that even in an open marriage where all we had to do was tell the other we were going to fuck someone else, no questions asked......I still cheated.....several times. He left me and has found out all the details somehow, but I still won't admit he is right to him.

 

It's because most assume that it's always the cheater being selfish and most don't see the months or years when a significant other uses sex as their sole domain to give or receive selfishly as they please! Foregoing all the needs of the other even when all communications of concern has been exhausted, the thought that monogamy should be more like a prison than a pleasure? I had many mistresses and intentionally got caught till her eyes and ears opened to see my side, all was forgiven and she took her amount of blame for it! The cheating stopped and hasn't resumed since (I don't need to now) we're now married 27 years and together as of the 24th of September 29 years total!!

None of us can really know how a relationship is going to progress.
My latest girl friend is everything I could ask for in a mate except for the sexual compatibility. How can I abandon a woman simply because I have a high sex drive and she doesn't.

Glad to hear it worked out for you. But yeah I don't like it when (usually the woman) denies her partner of sex and claims he's the selfish one. Um hello? If you have given up even talking about the subject and just flat out refuse it thats fucked up yo. I am a firm believer that sex is a very important, intimate part of a relationship. It's not the most important thing and doesn't even have to be constant to be good but it is still instrumental in the foundations of a loving relationship.

You need to do what is best for you. If you do decide she isn't the one for you just explain that while sex isn't the most important thing to you it is something you care about and want to share with her on a regular basis. If she in turn cannot give that to you maybe you just weren't meant to be. Perhaps you guys could be friends? You're not being selfish by wanting to feel loved and close to someone you care about that is normal human behavior. Hope all works out for you.
