There absolutely has to be an ME or an attending physician, to write the death certificate. If there is a transporting ambulance there sure as hell has to be an EMT or attending physician. Friends and family are potentially not a factor in a small percentage of such deaths.

Wrong again. There does not have to be an EMT or attending physician if they are transported in an ambulance. If the person does not have a doctor there will not be an attending physician. All ambulances are not accompanied by EMTs. I know one where the driver is the only one and he does not have a drivers license.

You don't know what the coroner and an ME does? They certify that the person is dead and complete a death certificate, in some cases an autopsy is conducted by a forensic pathologist.

A mortuary can not bury a corpse without a death certificate, and usually can not cremate the remains without an official cause of death, certified by an ME.

All of the above adds to the trail that follows a dead person, it is not very easy to hide a death.

All certified ambulance must have an attendant with the patient during transport. The magority of them are EMT's unless the patients merely being transported in a non emergency. Point again, someone knows about the death.

You do know the difference in a coroner and a ME? A coroner is an elected position. Just like president, a coroner does not necessarily have experience in their field. He only has to get the majority of votes.

You are speaking about your experiences. I will take your word that is the way you have seen things done. Things are different in different parts of the country. Like I said. I know of an ambulance driver that does not even have a drivers license. He transports people alone, no other person with him. I am not talking about big cities. There are other places.

I don't know of any illegally operated ambulance. Some areas of the country do not have the money for an ambulance driver and an EMT. They have to go with what they have the money for. Sometimes the money for an ambulance is hard to come by. Someone to drive people to the hospital is much better than having them find their own way there. Not the best but what they can afford.
I always knew the difference in an ME and a coroner. You are the one who does not seem to understand. You do seem to agree with me but it is only after I have explained it to you.
Again, different places do things in different ways. Some places can afford an ambulance driver, EMTs, even a fire truck to go with them on their runs. Some areas have a problem affording an ambulance.
One size does not fit all.

I have no obsession with anything government, i do enjoy exposing government corruption. I try to keep it simple and to the point to hopefully help people realize the government IS screwing them.

 

The "government" is who we elect, they are our representatives, if you do not like the way it is, work to elect those who will represent you.

This only happens because at the grass roots level, folks are not involved in the selection process of candidates. It begins at the bottom, not the top, get the guys who do things the way you like into local, then state office. Then when the time is right, move on to the national offices.

This is precisely why and how the "Tea Party" got going, don't let it die because some folks are dissing it. They dis it, because they are afraid of it.
