So, I'm happily married to a gorgeous petite blond, and I'd never step out on her. It doesn't mean I don't fantasize about it from time to time, but she keeps me pretty satiated when she plays along with affair fantasies, even playing the role of some female friends I find attractive.

Now, after getting married and COMPLETELY getting out of the dating/flirting game I was shocked at how much of my self esteem came from catching women starting at me….or the occasional flirty touch. It's not that I have low self esteem, it's just that female attention builds it up for me. It's kind of like a self affirmation that I "still have it."

Anyway, I joined a new gym closer to my house. I live in a very affluent area of Atlanta georgia, so as you can imagine there are TONS of rich, beautiful, horny housewives that spend time at the gym. From day one I seemed to get a lot of attention from the females there. Maybe they aren't used to a guy in his mid twenties being there….maybe they are used to a young man with a ring on his finger, I don't know.

What I do know is that they make no attempt to hide the looks they give me. They will walk out of their way going to the next machine just to make sure they walk right in front of me…pretty much trying to get some attention back. Like I said, I won't step out on my wife (without her joining) but it feels very good to have such an influx of female attention. They are very fit, very good looking women also.


All that to ask, am I the only guy that seems to get his self esteem from situations like this? Is it weird that I base the idea of myself on how attractive I am to women?

 

I get looked at by women, but I'm not sure if its because I'm good looking.

 

I've never considered myself terribly attractive. I have a facial issue.

At the same time I wonder why you would not feel a bit stronger ego-wise if women go out of their way to make certain you see how attractive they are. Mind you, it sounds like you need to make sure your wife knows you are interested only in her. My guess is that she feels she is quite special.

 

Yes it makes me feel good and more confident. When I was younger and frequented the bars older women would stare, flirt, grab my ass when I walked by...sometimes try to take me home. My wife did not approve...

 

Depending on the day and mood any confidence I get from women noticing me is either 'positive' ie building on self-esteem that is already there or 'negative' ie making up for a dip in my personal self-confidence.

Either way I enjoy it very much

 

I get lots of looks. Along with the frowns, head shaking, and pointing.
I think they all want me, no matter what they say.

 

I like it when the staring comes with a little bit of drool from the corner of their mouths. Or when their one good eye follows you around the room; that's hot.
