Nope, didn't miss much. Just the same old boring political bullshit threads that get spewed left and right, my return after being gone for a few months due to not being able to sign in for some weird reason, and people causing unnecessary drama for absolutely no reason at times. Other than that, like I said; you didn't miss much.

Well,its good to know everything is right where I left it. As a result of major financial difficulties I was forced to downgrade my life yet again, which meant giving up the internet for a while. I am back now...sort of. I got a tablet and steal WiFi from anybody dumb enough to let me.

Word to the wise...WiFi and tablets kinda suck in comparison to a good lap top or desk top and high speed cable. And Google needs to be arrested for chrome for android. It sucks in ways I cannot even begin to describe.

 

Sorry to learn of your difficulties but glad to see you are still creative and determined enough to overcome your setbacks and communicate on a sane level.

I also hope things continue to improve for you because I can't imagine having to try and type on a tablet. So you have my admiration for that.

 

You missed cliches from the resident wingnuts, and many of the well documented facts for which I am justly famous.

 

My laptop is getting old and can't be updated much more but it was top of the line in it's day. I thought if I replace it I might get a tablet.

 

If you get a tablet I strongly advise that you don't cheap out on it like I did. Spend the extra money and go with quality and performance or it will just become a very expensive Frisbee. It might anyway but your odds are better with good equipment. When I bought mine I did the smart thing and got the replacement insurance so if I um...'drop it' or 'accidentaly' break it they will replace it free for up to a year. Mine has been on the verge of getting combination flying lessons coupled with swimming lessons three times in just the last hour. It may even join the space program by way of explosive demolitions training. I haven't decided its future yet, but its a brighter and more exciting future than mine is at the moment.

 

I bought a Asus Tf700, it was a few pennies under six hundred dollars when I bought it. I bought the wife one too, hers is still going but mine was a pile of shit from the first day. Finally after about 7 months it took a shit, the battery charging circuitry failed and being it is part of the mother board it would have to be replaced at the same cost as a new tablet, so i decided to skip fixing it. I was extremely disappointed when I took the tablet apart to find your basic $200 android phone guts in this tablet. I would muster a guess and say these are the cellphones that didn't sell and they turned those into tablets and added about $450 to the price.
