  2. Hello,

You can now get verified on forum.

The way it's gonna work is that you can send me a PM with a verification picture. The picture has to contain you and forum name on piece of paper or on your body and your username or my username instead of the website name, if you prefer that.

I need to be able to recognize you in that picture. You need to have some pictures of your self in your gallery so I can compare that picture.

Please note that verification is completely optional and it won't give you any extra features or access. You will have a check mark (as I have now, if you want to look) and verification will only mean that you are who you say you are.

You may not use a fake pictures for verification. If you try to verify your account with a fake picture or someone else picture, or just spam me with fake pictures, you will get Banned!

The pictures that you will send me for verification won't be public

    Best regards,

    StanleyOG.

    Thanks all,
At the end of the movie, there was dead silence. No one got up to leave. We all sat there gently sobbing.
NOT THE WAY TO SPEND YOUR BIRTHDAY!!! LOL

Having worked some in the Middle East, I was highly impressed with the authenticity of the movie sets.
The writings that we call "snail trails", the wallpapered stairs, the vehicles, all looked real. Clint Eastwood
hit a homer with this tale.

JUST NOT ON MY FRIGGIN BIRTHDAY!!!

The last movie that I watched in a movie theater was that movie about Jesus that Mel Gibson directed.

Before that it was that one that had Kirk, Spock, and a whale in it.

I finally am reading 50 Shades of Grey after being told by so many to not bother. About half way through it and I'm finding it interesting, to say the least.

Just how close does the movie follow the book?

I know isn't it enticing. I think there was another thread and also in PM's that I discussed this movie and explained why I liked it.

I saw the new Mad Max today, I thought it was okay. For what it was, it was entertaining, but just like every big movie that gets released now, massively over hyped. In some regards, it just felt like a rehashed version of The Road Warrior with a different story and less interesting characters.

We rented Mortdecai yesterday from Redbox. Another stupid Johnny Depp movie, I should have known better.

    Favorite funny quote:
When told he owed a fortune in British taxes, he say's.. “I had no idea I was so deep in Her Majesty’s hole.”

There you have it. Save your money on this rental :stop:. Not worth the $2 Blu-ray rental fee.

I hate to do this but Mortdecai stinks like :mooning:.

I have seen quite a few movies over the weeks or months now I guess it has been since posting about them I just can’t recall what they all were now.

The Age Of Adaline was a sad romance with a happy ending. It was about a lady who can’t age and runs from science out of fear and can never love because she has to keep her dilemma a secret but finally meets the man she decides to tell the truth too and of course all ends well like the fairy tale. Total chick flick! I really like Blake Lively so knew even if the movie wasn’t good I would still enjoy it if she was staring.

“Get Hard” was one show that was a mindless comedy actually it was incredibly stupid but does have the value of distraction if one needs to empty their mind and just laugh as Will Ferrell prepares to go to prison and Kevin Hart teaches him how to survive.

Danny Collins was a pretty good movie with Al Pacino, yes the old bugger is still making films! This was a heart filled movie which shows life’s struggles and how the character Danny wants to make things with his family right but is met with challenges.

The Longest Ride, oh I love a romance and of course horses so the 2 together made for a great looking film, this show also had the struggles that people and couples work through which they did and lived happily ever after which was a surprise as many movies of late have had a twist to them so if this show hadn’t had such good looking characters and scenery it wouldn’t have been half as good.

There were a few other movies prior to these and I just can’t recall them all now.

    Hi TT

Curious as to how the book is going? I know we talked about this book/film in depth in PM so I am curious if you have now finished it and if so what your thoughts are?

I'm just about finished the the third book now. My favorite book was the second one. If the critics of the first book had read the second book they might have understood better. The books should have had subtitles "Ana the submissive?", "Ana's Romance", and "Ana the Wife."

Getting past the poor editing was my biggest hurdle. The books were written by a Brit about Americans but she and the editors must have forgotten that Americans have a slightly different vocabulary. For instance, if I were to open the hood of my car, I would find an engine but in book 3 there was a picnic basket. If they had only allowed an American editor to read the manuscripts.

Trying to read the books for what they were supposed to be I found that I never learned to like Christian but I wish I had met Ana when I was single.
