And if you aren't convinced yet that Harry Reid is NOT playing with a full deck (just maybe some "jokers" and "race cards")....

Harry Reid to Chuck Todd: You Journalists Are Covering for the GOP

In an interview with Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-NV) on Thursday, MSNBC host Chuck Todd was accused of failing to cover events in Congress fairly. Reid said that the press, Todd included, “won’t call things the way they actually exist.” As a result, Reid said, Republicans receive fairer coverage in the media than they deserve.

Todd asked Reid about a complaint among Senate Republicans that the majority leader limits their minority rights by using procedural maneuvers to prohibit the addition of amendments to bills.

“It feels like a tit-for-tat game,” Todd observed. “You don’t believe there’s any tit-for-tat going on here?”

“You won’t call things the way they actually exist,” he continued. “What has happened here is the Republicans have stopped everything from happening.”

“You can give me the tit-for-tat all you want, but the fact is we want to legislate,” the majority leader concluded.

Think about that for a second, folks. MSNBC? Republicans? MSNBC???????? Favoring Republicans? Poor Harry is seeing the day flying at him when they'll be prying his "cold dead hands" from that Senate rostrum. And it's making him completely unbalanced. (Deservedly so!)

Proud to be a liar. Shocked, I'm not. (At the 1:00 minute mark on the video.) I'm sure he can't wait to lie his ass off for the next candidate. Not that she needs any help. I can see it now. " Tag-team lying. "

Harry Reid is proud he lied about Mitt Romney's taxes

    By Ashe Schow | March 31, 2015 | 11:11 am

Harry Reid, D-Nev. has no regrets about his 2012 claims that then presidential candidate Mitt Romney paid no taxes for 10 years.

The outgoing Senate Minority Leader even bragged to CNN that the comments, which had been described as McCarthyism, helped keep Romney from winning the election.

"They can call it whatever they want. Romney didn't win did he?" Reid said during a wide-ranging interview.

So, in Reid's world, it is perfectly acceptable to make a defamatory charge against an opponent to damage his campaign.

Reid first made the accusation against the former Massachusetts governor in a 2012 interview with the Huffington Post. At the time, Reid claimed that a Bain Capital investor told him Romney didn't pay taxes for the previous 10 years. This, Reid claimed, was why Romney hadn't released his tax returns.

"He didn't pay taxes for 10 years!" Reid said. "Now, do I know that that's true? Well, I'm not certain, but obviously he can't release those tax returns. How would it look?"

A few days after the HuffPo interview, Reid made the same charge on the Senate floor, this time claiming as fact that Romney paid no taxes.

"As we know, he has refused to release his tax returns. If a person coming before this body wanted to be a Cabinet officer, he couldn't be if he had the same refusal Mitt Romney does about tax returns," Reid said. "So the word is out that he has not paid any taxes for 10 years. Let him prove he has paid taxes, because he has not."

Even though Reid made a slanderous statement that Romney had in fact paid not taxes, without mentioning anything about his Bain source or skepticism, he cannot be sued for that particular statement. Article I, Section 6 of the Constitution states that members of Congress shall "be privileged from arrest during their attendance at the session of their respective Houses, and in going to and returning from the same; and for any speech or debate in either House, they shall not be questioned in any other place." The only exceptions to this rule are for treason, felonies and "breach of the peace."

After his floor speech, Reid made the claim again, except this time he again cited his "extremely credible source" for the accusation.

So when Reid directly accused Romney of being a tax dodge, he did so from the safety of the Senate floor. Outside the protection of legislative immunity, Romney was only possibly a tax dodge.

Not only does Reid not think he did anything wrong, he's actually proud that his lies might have helped cost Romney the election.

Note: The Washington Post's fact checker gave Reid "4 Pinocchios" for his claims. PolitiFact gave the claim a "pants on fire" rating.

I, for one, am sick of all of the republican-democrat fighting, finger pointing, and whinning. Just because someone sees things differently doesn't mean they are completely wrong; it just means they have a different point of view. It amazes me that we expect the two sides of Congress to pull together and work with each other when we ourselves can't even stop from fighting over the same issues on a porn forum.

The lying pile of vomit actually had the balls to say he had respect for Mitt Romney. The same Mitt Romney that the pile of vomit flat-out lied about on the Senate floor when he said he "had heard" Romney hadn't paid taxes in over 10 years. And later on, when confronted about that lie, the pile of vomit laughed about it. Now, here he is lying again, saying, "Mitt Romney is someone I had respect for." Pukey Harry has no respect for anyone (not even himself) or anything but his politics and his bank account.

Harry Reid: Mitt Romney lost all my respect. Romney: You lost my respect first.

"Good riddance, Mr. Reid. The Senate will be better served without you in it.”

    12/13/16

Mitt Romney and Harry Reid still are not getting along.

Following Romney’s unsuccessful bid to be Donald Trump’s secretary of state, Reid, a Nevada Democrat and outgoing Senate minority leader, said that he lost all respect for the former Massachusetts governor.

“Mitt Romney is somebody I had respect for,” Reid told the Huffington Post. “I have none anymore.”

The interview was published Tuesday afternoon, shortly after Trump announced he had picked ExxonMobil CEO Rex Tillerson to be secretary of state. And Reid’s criticism of Romney went deeper.

Reid argued that Romney, who’d called Trump a fraud during the presidential campaign, had lost any ability to criticize the soon-to-be-president by prostrating himself for the secretary of state gig.

“This is man who came out big-time against Trump. Oh, the things he said about Trump. Well, that’s great, that’s wonderful,” Reid said. “Either he wasn’t telling the truth, or he’s a person with no character. After having said that, to go and do homage to this guy he said awful things about, I don’t think that shows much character.”
In a statement to the Post, Romney admitted that though he was critical of Trump during the campaign, he could not pass up any opportunity to “have helped shape foreign policy to protect the country I love.”

Also, Romney dismissed Reid’s criticism, noting that he lost his respect for the Nevadan years ago.

“As for Mr. Reid, I lost respect for him when he repeatedly lied about my taxes and later admitted to it cheerily,” he said. “Good riddance, Mr. Reid. The Senate will be better served without you in it.”

In 2012, Reid repeatedly and baselessly claimed that Romney, then the Republican presidential nominee, didn’t pay taxes for 10 years. As Romney noted in the statement above, Reid refused to apologize for the lie when confronted about it last year.

“Romney didn’t win, did he?” he told CNN’s Dana Bash, when asked if he regretted promoting the falsehood. Reid later called it “one of the best things I’ve ever done.”

To be fair, Romney used a similar tactic earlier this year, in an attempt to induce then-candidate Trump into releasing his tax returns.

Goood riddance, Dirty Harry ScReid. Not only do I hope door hits you on the way, I hope it knocks you flat on your pukey face, you piece of shit.
