    You can now get verified on forum.

    The way it's gonna work is that you can send me a PM with a verification picture. The picture has to contain you and forum name on piece of paper or on your body and your username or my username instead of the website name, if you prefer that.

    I need to be able to recognize you in that picture. You need to have some pictures of your self in your gallery so I can compare that picture.

    Please note that verification is completely optional and it won't give you any extra features or access. You will have a check mark (as I have now, if you want to look) and verification will only mean that you are who you say you are.

    You may not use a fake pictures for verification. If you try to verify your account with a fake picture or someone else picture, or just spam me with fake pictures, you will get Banned!

    The pictures that you will send me for verification won't be public

    20 years ago we knew we would stay together. We did and I'm still as crazy about her as I was back then. Why getting married instead of just living together? Partly tradition, partly to tell each other that we wanted this, and also to make sure a lot of legal things are covered that are hard to get right when you just live together.

    I can't believe people still do get married. At a near 50% failure rate it makes no sense. No one thinks they will be the ones to get divorced at the time they get married, but half still fail.
    I fell for the scam once, but never again. Why put yourself into a position where you need a lawyer to get out of a relationship you don't enjoy anymore.

      A lot of states don't recognize common law, so for legal & financial reasons (not to mention love), they get married.
      People that can work a divorce out themselves, can go to a lawyer & have all said and done quickly and inexpensive. I have a couple friends that were actually able to do this. I know, usually there is too much fighting to do this.

    Well, read up on the downfall of Rome in particular the burden upon the government welfare system and crime in regards to the rampant numbers of discarded/orphaned bastard children brought about by decline of solid family units. Add to that simply the pressure of both church and state to exert control over the people.....Then heap on a few thousand years of tradition/habit so it is simply the norm and you'll understand.

    I myself believe however, no religion, government, law, society or scrap of paper can force anyone including myself to abide by the intent of marriage. That can only come from ones own heart....With my Husband, I was married to him long before we were married, and if that scrap of paper was burned and the marriage dissolved, I'd still be married to him.....So I guess I'm like Herpes.
