I may seem like an exhibitionist yet in reality on the one hand I feel very self conscious, like a target and vulnerable when dressed (yes I realize quite the opposite of most people). When nude, even if everyone else is dressed I don't feel that way.

Actually, I almost feel "wraith like" as though no one notices me. On the same token, I actually feel as though nude I present an impression of power and strength. Don't get me wrong, it is more vulnerable, however the image in my mind is one of being so powerful and secure that I can afford to be nude, and therefor projecting even greater power and security........Yeah I know it's all backwards, yet my life experiences firmed up that mindset right or wrong. So in the end I'm mentally comfortable and at ease which for me is a biggie.

As to being a voyeur, I've seen extremes of sex and nudity all my life. It doesn't turn me on or excite me in the least. However, others demeanors, reactions and motivations will. So I don't watch people for what one would typically be classified as a voyeur, I watch them to read their intentions (not actions), and that is where I'll find my rush.
