My opinions on this matter are pretty strange.

I believe there are UFOs, because anything in the air that I can't identify is a UFO. That's simple.

But do I think that in our whole universe, that other intelligent life forms, that have mastered the ability of space flight and most likely have technology to completely wipe us out in a single swipe somehow landed somewhere in our solar system in order to explore our Earth and haven't yet engaged us? What's holding them back if there are other life forms out there far more intelligent than us.

Maybe they're monitoring us, waiting until Earth is ripe for the picking, one swift strike, and we're gone. Scary, really. Area 51 shit right there.

In all reality.. Sure, I believe there are intelligent life forms out there somewhere. Like the guy in Animal House is trying to explain to the guy that a Universe may exist on my thumbnail, while our universe may be on something much larger than we are.

There's definately got to be SOMETHING out there that can match or kick our asses completely intelligence wise. And you know, if they're out there, they are probably thinking the SAME thing about us other life forms. I think it would be exciting to one day find out about it, but it won't happen in my life time, or yours, or anybody for a long time.

 

I was for a lot of years pretty skeptical about what I read about them. But once again the answers for most of these vexing issues is about "faith". You either faithfully believe that thety do or don't based upon evidence that are not conclusive. You either have faith in science who proclaims we came from primordial soup somewhere or faith in the Bibles assertion of creation. Both take a great deal of faith. No hard eveidence to cocretely solve the riddle. However their are clues along the path. I don't thinmk we are accidents or by chance dis we get here. It tome is like tearing a car totally apart and leaving it alone for as long as it takes but at some point in the far distant future having another "somebody" find the car but irt's totally complete and reassembled and ready to drive. I don't know about tyou but I would look at this"complete thing" as having had someone or something that intelligently mfg. it. It didnm't do it by chance or by what? Anyway I think I will a beer and go dfor a drive if onl;y I had a car hmmmmm meant to be a joke

 

I would argue, first of all, that the notion of creation and the notion of evolution from primordial soup are not mutually exclusive. The issue is when and how creation occured, and by what or whom. And it's the biblical depiction of creation that is suspect, and there's no tangible evidence to support it. There is, however, a great DEAL of evidence in support of evolution over billions of years.

 

where is the missing links kimiko..I knoww for a fact that there has been some lets call them creative endeavors that community to prove evolution but the missing links stay missing because they in my opinion doo not exist. But the bottom line is that we all are cruising along life by faith in something.Your faith is yours.no one elses. My faith is in God and His son Jesus Christ. By the way, everything discovered in the fossil record was, at one time, a "missing link". It doesn't matter how many missing links you find, there will always be more "transitional" steps that reflect minute adaptations.

great reply. You've obviously given the whole UFO thing some thought. I think the ufo's and crop circles and mutilated animals all have some things in common. We seem to want to, understandably, give them to much credit, in my opinion. First off, if they are real and if they are light years ahead of us with superior intelligence, space travel etc, why do they even bother with a people that seem intent upon anhihalation and war and murde and all the thingfs that we do? I don't buy it. I think if they are up there that it's important for them to study us, monitor us or whatever.
