Thanks for the advice. I've kinda given up hope emailing the people in charge here. I'm not here to cause waves or ruffle feathers, I just wanted another place where people can read my writing and I'm happy that I've found one. If they want to mess with the comments, cool. If they don't, then that's all right too.

If as you said the comments don't matter either way then use this site, or don't. It's your prerogative.

 

I have encountered this same problem on my stories. Unfortunately, I have yet to have them removed as well, and I'm tempted to simply remove my stories from the website altogether. Nothing I write gets posted in a timely manner on this website anymore, so I've completely stopped posting my stories here anyway. Sadly, this appears to be the state of things on this website, and the powers that be seem just fine with that...

 

For me personally, I'm not upset enough to remove my writing. However, the spam is annoying. I've thought about limiting comments to registered members because 99% of the spam is coming from anonymous users. The downside of that is I've had some great comments from people who wished to remain anonymous. As I said in my first post, I wish that comments were something that I could control. But alas, the fleas come with the dog.

 

I second that! So many people trying to 'kik' it with others.

Hello. I'm wanting to include an image in my story, but I guess I don't know how. I thought using the "img" tag would work, but it seems that it doesn't. This is concerning to me since the "i", "b", and "u" tags work fine. Please help. Thanks!

The main forum framework doesn't support photo files of any type.

 

I don't think I was clear enough (unless I misunderstood you). My bad. This is for sexstories.com. That site. I have a link to the image I want; I'm not trying to insert it straight from my computer.

 

I thought that was what you meant. The site structure over there doesn't support pictures or links to pictures. If you want to illustrate a story, you'll have to post it here in the Sex Stories sub-forum.

I closely monitor my comments since it's the only way to know if a new one has been posted. Oddly enough, some of the spam comments I've previously reported have gone away just recently. Others are still there. Some new spam comments appeared too.

It was bad enough when it was just people dropping kik names and asking for chat, now folks are posting little paragraphs about molesting underage children. I would think the admins might want to get on that.

 

Any chance of authors being allowed to delete posted comments? Between the underage comments, advertising comments, and dating comments, something needs to be done to address what's going on here.

Overall, its a great site for authors and I love how many views my writing gets. But enough is enough, when will this problem be addressed?

 

I am new here, have been really enjoying reading all these stories, some fantastic writing, I noticed a couple of stories where a description of scene, is verbatim the exact words of another author in a different story, whats the deal? Do people borrow descriptions? Should it be reported? I thought I was losing my mind!

 

I WOULD ASK THE SAME QUESTION BUT THERE ARE ONLY SO MANY WAYS THEY CAN DESCRIBE A SEX ACT OR SEEN I SUPPOSE

 

yep I guess its hard to find a original thought on preforming a sex act its been done for over 100,000,000 times I am sure lol

 

If there's plagiarism, notify the original author. Or I suppose both authors if you can't figure out which one ripped the other off.

I am trying to find out why my story "A Visit From Saint Michael" was "Refused()" It has been on the site since October of 2014 and suddenly it is marked as "Refused()" No reason is given. Anyone have any ideas?

 

probably had people under the age of 18 in sexual situations that is the main thing that will get a story rejected.
