I'm not reading the CAW entries yet. I'm still messing about with mine. If I read some and they're too good, it will put me off for sure.

Yeah, not a prob. I actually did start reading that the other day, will pick it back up in the next couple of days, since the reading portion goes into the new year we have plenty of time to read all entries, so I should have no time reading other stories.

I am not thinking so much about CAW itself but about the rest of the forum. Not that it's my concern really but nor is CAW, when I'm considering whether to participate in it or not.

There is a lot of positive energy in it, quite true, but possibly too much. I am still pondering...

Well BUT! Look how competitive it's made you! This is a downside for me rather than an upside. Then I see the entrants all commenting crazily for each other and most of you not for anyone else. So how many people is the forum for? More than 15 I think; this is my reservation.

Thanks snowleopard, that's so kind. My reservation is just that CAW is so powerful, that's all, and other newer members' efforts get ignored (not mine luckily but others'). But I'm still thinking about it.

As I told WSF, I went back to it, re read it and I didn't like what I had written at all. No point in continuing a story at that point, so I scrapped it.

I can understand why, it's a good story. I've only read that one so far as I was going to wait for the link to go up, but after we started getting over ten or so entries I thought I might start early so that I could read some twice if I watned.
