No all you've ever done here for most all your time on this forum is bitch and cry about our government and nit pick against what is actually the H-Factor. Which is the human factor. Which means humans are natural fuckups not to mention greedy and corrupt. And it is so easy to pick on those human failings and claim its all the governments fault. Its a lot harder to recognize that is the minority and not the majority and apparently impossible for people to stop bitching long enough to actually offer better ideas or solutions.

anotheruser1 could have been a sympathetic and popular poster here. He seemed to suffer from chronic depression. I know from personal experience, that that is a problem. Unfortunately, he allowed his depression to generate a vast reservoir of hostility, which he directed at the government, and at posters here.

We can all think of ways we would like for the U.S. government to be better. Claiming that it is incorrigibly evil is not helpful, however.

Here's the fundamental difference between a Democratic philosophy about government and a Republican philosophy about government.

A democrat believes that people are stupid, panicky, undisciplined rabble and that the only way to grow as a society is for Government to manage them from cradle to grave. Government must provide their food, shelter, medical care, entertainment, education, and burial. To do this Government must take everything and dole out to each citizen what they need.

A Republican believes that people are inherently good, and for the most part capable of running their own lives. While all will make some mistakes and some will make a lot of mistakes, in the end it is their life to live as they want. Government should not interfere in daily life, but should only concern itself with National Defense and to provide an orderly structure for Society to grow in. To do this Government should take a minimal amount from the public.

I've noted over the last few months how the Democrats make it a point to label the Republicans with Democratic failure. As but one example, Obama blames Congress for congressional gridlock, when in fact as the leader he has the ability to facilitate a working relationship with Congress. Whatever blame the Republicans have for gridlock, the Obama administration carries the greater blame.

And I see where DL has taken up the tactic.

In fact Obama has had 6 years to fix the economic mess left by Bush, 2 of those years with all but despotic power, and STILL the economy is a fucking mess. And Obama has all but proven what a failure Government is at managing our lives with Obamacare.

No Democrat from the day the party was invented until now, has ever believed such a principle, nor ever tried to implement it. Indeed, I don't think any person anywhere in the world has ever believed in it. Marx insisted on believing that eventually everyone would do what was best for society without needing to be forced to do so; sadly he was wrong.

 

Yup and it is only going to get worse as they have promised to use our resources to pay off our debt so basically ruining this province over the next 10 years.

 

Somewhere in Shooters past something happened to make him think as he does. Of course he is wrong as can be but it's no good trying to tell the fool anything different. He is what he is. He should stick to writing humor and stay the hell out of politics. Other than his mental aberration he is ok.
