  3. Hello,

You can now get verified on forum.

The way it's gonna work is that you can send me a PM with a verification picture. The picture has to contain you and forum name on piece of paper or on your body and your username or my username instead of the website name, if you prefer that.

I need to be able to recognize you in that picture. You need to have some pictures of your self in your gallery so I can compare that picture.

Please note that verification is completely optional and it won't give you any extra features or access. You will have a check mark (as I have now, if you want to look) and verification will only mean that you are who you say you are.

You may not use a fake pictures for verification. If you try to verify your account with a fake picture or someone else picture, or just spam me with fake pictures, you will get Banned!

The pictures that you will send me for verification won't be public

    Best regards,

    StanleyOG.

The iodine in salt can cause acne so if you're eating chips, etc., I would suggest you eliminate them from your diet as well as fast foods which are loaded in sodium.

like cauterized said, it will weed out the shallow people. so i think it's actually a good thing. that way you can find people who like you for you. find girls who love you for who you are on the inside and not the out. and im sure everyone has had acne, at some point in their life, some more than others (like me) so a lot of people are sympathetic and realize it's not your fault

my man has some acne, but that doesn't bother me. If girls aren't liking you just because of that, then they are shallow. Be yourself, and be confident about who you are in the inside. That's what really counts in the end anyway.

don't scrub your skin. wash your face with "tea tree" facewash, there's several different brands (try the body shop). only wash at night, b4 u go to bed. rinse with water in the morning, and try to just use a mild cream on your face. you could be doing too much to your skin and thats why its breaking out- u could b irritating it. as for your body- keep your hands off! don't touch your acne. also, theres stuff in pasta, white rice, etc, that causes your skin to break out.

btw, i got the info from my sisters dermotologist. hope this helps you.

Baller good advice and thanks for the link. I went to dermatologists weekly for treatment from 30 to 35 age, mostly on my back just typical acne pimples all over it.
Recently I experienced a breaking out on my face and forehead that I have not been able to determine the cause of. I tried oatmeal solution and it cleared up, but I don't think that did it, a week later it just decided to go away. Now its back but not as bad. I think mine is eczema of some sort. And I am tired of going to doctors who pretend to know what they are talking about and get no results. So I won't waste my money on them.

1 This that would help to less acne or maybe stop spreading is no pop (diet or regular) because I've heard it creates more acne. I'd give that a shot, see if it helps any.

    BTW-Welcome to the forums!

If you're a confident person then you'll be able to deal with it. If some women aren't interested in you because of the way you look, then they aren't worth wasting your time on.

As for remedies, I didn't see Accutane mentioned. My brother had really bad acne, mostly on his back, even into his 30's. He went to his dermatologist who prescribed Accutane and he's much better; he only gets the occasional pimple now like an average person. I don't know how long he was on the drug but it wasn't just a quickie solution; it took several months of being on this drug plus regular tests to monitor liver function. There can be severe side effects. Google ACCUTANE for more information or see your doctor. Best of luck!

You say this, but its not some women, its all women. I've yet to meet ANYONE who looked at me with anything better than pity. For most their expresion is one of nausea.

Let me put it in perspective. You know those Proactive TV commercials and other TV comercials for similar products? You know the "Before and After" Pictures they show? Lets just say that I would kill to have skin as clear as some of the "before"s.

    acne READ THIS!

I had really bad acne in high school, i am now 33.
I still get a pimple every once in awhile, but other thn that i am pretty clear complexoned. This is what happened.....
    I figured out i had food allergies!!!!!!!!!!!!!11
i have cut out sugar almost completely.
I never take in more than 8g of sugar in a day.
go to a dermatologists and ask him to prick you in the back with the different
needles to see if your allergic.
he's gonna tell you what you eat has nothing to do with your skin, then tell him i said he is wrong.
Now if i have a soda, usually within the next day i have a pimple.
    try it.
eliminate sugar, then try other things as well.
it sucks, my diet sucks, but my face is clear

    best of luck to you

Hey, It was the same with me. It used to be relly bad. I mean terrible. My girlfriend still oved me for me and we are still together.

I know you have herd all the treatments, and I tried them ALL too! I finally found something taht works. Its a medical procedure called PPX treaments. It uses a laser and a high powered vaccum to work on your face. It hurts the first time, but after that its better. Over the last 4 mouths, I have recieved 5 treatments. I went from having terrible acme, to little at all. The procedure is brand new, and a dermotolgist(spelling?) around you should have one. They are kinda pricy, but after all of the other shit I went though, It was well worth it. I hope this helps you.

PS If you want more info, just google it

My girlfriend used to be on that. It worked, but at the time she said she hated it. I think she felt it contributed to her feeling depressed at the time that I first knew her.

These days, she says it was wonderful.

There's a lot to be said for dietry considerations too. Also, I was told that washing your face obsessively ain't good either - you remove all the essential oils from the skin, resulting in your skin going mental and making loads more oils, leading to greasy skin and helping the acne. I don't know if this is true of not, but it seems to make sense.

Cutting out sugary and fatty foods out the diet should help too. However, I'm sure your docs told you all of this.

I think the best advice on this thread is to simply be confident.

    Chin up, mate.
