Actually most of the over rated "Founding Fathers" disapproved of public schools. They thought education should be a privalege for children who had parents affluent enough to pay for private schools.

 

I disagree....most of our Founding Fathers taught THEMSELVES how to read and write....

They had a lockdown at my college because someone was reported to be on campus with a gun recently.

 

Its always very hard to tell what actually happened when the press jumps all over something like this with nothing more than speculation. And the first reports are often wrong.

But at this point it appears this may have been a targeted shooting instead of an attempt at a random mass shooting. There are two students wounded, one female, one male. The shooter is reported to be dead. And he may have been shot by a school resource officer.

 

Too many angry trigger itchy kids ruining lives including their own, when they just need to fight it out fist to flesh and get a lecture and everyone lives to tell another tale

 

A good guy with a firearm, stops a bad guy with a firearm. Liberals are going to go ape shit!

 

Thanks to the NRA way too many guns and promotion of the insane idea that a gun is an answer to everything and everyone should have one. And the only answer is more guns.

And you will be able to see that in action when the paid PR hacks immediately jump on this trying to promote the idea that they are right about more guns in schools because that's the NRA's way of selling more guns. And you will also be able to tell they are actually paid PR hacks by how quickly they start pushing their narrative.

 

You need to learn what the NRA is about. It has nothing to do about selling guns!
They promote gun safety, attent an NRA class, it is NOT about a bunch of red neck running around shooting everthing in sight.

I have been shooting guns for more than 60 years and have known the NRA for 40 years. And the NRA has two primary purposes. One is to act as a heat shield for gun makers so they can't even be sued and help them sell more guns. And the other is to push far right politics and the further right the better. Because that also helps sell more guns.

And everything else from gun safety to protecting "gun rights" is simply a front that they use to dupe their gullible members. Which incidentally is nowhere near 5 million because that's just another lie the NRA tells. They don't have 5 million paying members. The NRA tries to send a membershp card to anyone who buys a gun.

 

I have to give props to the Resource Officer for shooting, hitting, and NOT running! Thank you!

You are actually just quite full of shit. The protections for gun makers goes far beyond just how they are used in acts of violence. Gun makers are also protected for making defective guns and the government can not force them to recall their unsafe products. The NRA has made sure no other industry in the country has the kind of legal immunity that gun makers do.
