  2. Hello,

You can now get verified on forum.

The way it's gonna work is that you can send me a PM with a verification picture. The picture has to contain you and forum name on piece of paper or on your body and your username or my username instead of the website name, if you prefer that.

I need to be able to recognize you in that picture. You need to have some pictures of your self in your gallery so I can compare that picture.

Please note that verification is completely optional and it won't give you any extra features or access. You will have a check mark (as I have now, if you want to look) and verification will only mean that you are who you say you are.

You may not use a fake pictures for verification. If you try to verify your account with a fake picture or someone else picture, or just spam me with fake pictures, you will get Banned!

I wonder how Republicans will spin it when those jobs do not come back. Reagan and George the Lesser cut taxes for the rich. Reagan had a worse record on job creation than Carter. Bush II had a much worse record than Bill Clinton.

True conservatives respect the lessons of the past. Republicans keep expecting economic policies that failed in the past to succeed in the future.

Making false statements is all you are capable of.... Carter was the worse president in US history before Obama came along.

Neither one could hold a candle to Reagan on job creation, foreign policy or anything else.....

      @Distant Lover;
What's your definition of "the rich"?
Or if you prefer, the Republican definition of "the rich".
You keep saying Republican policy is to give tax breaks to "the rich".

The problem is, Shooter has little idea what demographic you refer to when you say that.

The easiest way to lower the crime rate is to decriminalize behavior that was previously illegal. Trump is decriminalizing tax evasion. That is understandable, because his refusal to publicize his tax returns indicates that he has gone for years without paying any income taxes.

Since I do not have a business overseas I am not up on all of the tax laws concerning overseas taxation.
Does anyone know the laws about products made and sold overseas?

think about this they lowered the taxes and goa temporary get out of jail free card for past crimes to bring this money back so of course they owed taxes on it

Many United States (U.S.) citizens and resident aliens receive income from foreign sources. There have been recent reports about the interest of the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) in taxpayers with accounts in Liechtenstein. The interest of the IRS, however, extends beyond accounts in Liechtenstein to accounts anywhere in the world. Consequently, the IRS reminds you to report your worldwide income on your U.S. tax return.

yes they did owe the taxes

Ridge, I am just happy they we now have a president who can bring some of the money back to the U.S.
I don't remember any other president bring back any. I do remember presidents who caused money to be sent overseas.

    There is no spin here.

Corporate tax cuts create jobs, offshore money is coming back.

If that is true why do Democrat presidents have a better record of job creation than Republican presidents?

When Ronald Reagan cut taxes for the rich, while giving most other people a pittance, most whites who were not rich were desperate to believe in fairy tales. They believed the Gipper when he told them that tax cuts for them would generate so much economic growth that they would get better jobs with big raises.

When this did not happen their will to believe was so strong that they continued to believe that it was happening.

When George the Lesser tried the same scam there was more skepticism, but slightly more Americans favored Bush's tax cuts than opposed them. The skeptics were right. During the two terms of George the Lesser an average of 375,000 jobs were created per year. The Wall Street Journal article from which I get that fact - and the fact which I have quoted on many, many occasions - is entitled, "Bush on Jobs - The Worst Track Record on Record."

    https://blogs.wsj.com/economics/2009/01/09/bush-on-jobs-the-worst-track-record-on-record/

Right now Republican ideologues are indulging in the same optimistic predictions they indulged in 1980 about the wondrous results of tax cuts. Only now the will to believe no longer exists. Most Americans have learned that the only people who benefit from tax cuts for the rich are rich people. The rest of us pay in one way or another.

If the Trump fairy tale does not come true any more than the Reagan and Bush II fairy tales did, President Shithole will be in a world of shit. So will be the Republican Party.

Look people if you don't know how shitty apply is as a company ill educate you on them. Apple is a company who had to install suicide nets to keep thee employees from jumping out the window after working a 20 hour work day for .50 cents a hour throwing together there cheap ass phones and i pads. They bragged after 12 beaths saying they where not forced to put the nets up by the government in HongKong they thought it was the right thing to do. Really it was because the bleach clean up the blood was more costly then the nets around the build.[IMG]

The spew one can find on the internet.............
Apple put up suicide prevention nets on Chinese buildings to keep overworked, underpaid employees from staining the sidewalk with their blood when they committed Suicide, because it was cheaper than the bleach it took to clean up the mess.
    Really?
First, it wasn't an Apple factory.
    It was a Foxcon factory.
Foxcon makes electronic parts for many companies, including Apple, Sony, Nintendo and HP.
But whoever heard of Foxcon before?
Now Apple, there's a name we all know.

apple owns a controlling part in hon hai the parental company of foxcon thats why now with this news of apple bringing capital back to america foxcon said its looking to open up plants in Wisconsin and Ohio. As some one who has had many jobs in the tech industry ("Luckly never in the assembly line always just writing software or technical support") I can tell you Apple knew and approved of the working conditions from foxcon.

Unless I am mistaken the other countries get to make the labor laws. The U.S. does not get to make laws in other countries.

My take is the IRS and government can't get the off shore tax money back so forgive the transgressional debt and let them bring the business back and atleast make money on the tax going forward. Looks like sound economic policy to me.

problem is most of em admitted that they will use the extra cash to buy back stock and invest in automation not jobs

too bad that 1 or 500 will cost thousands more before they are ever available
and since the US has no robotics plants guess where those jobs go

Huh. Which companies have stated they will use the "extra" cash to buy back stock; what's your source?
And investing in automation isn't a bad thing; the jobs lost to automation become better paying jobs maintaining the automation machinery.

a few of the CEOs admitted to it comcast is doing it now as is apple
When Bank of America Merrill Lynch surveyed more than 300 top U.S. companies this summer about their plans for Trump’s “tax holiday” on overseas cash, 65 percent said they would bring the money back to the United States and use it to pay down debt. The next most popular plan was to spend the money on stock buybacks — when companies purchase their own stock, driving up the price.

I do not understand the negativity? The USNA doesn't have robotic plants, so the jobs were never on the cards, so it's not costing anyone a job. The jobs will come from inferstructure and development. Management and repair of plants, shipping contracts, building of plants, packaging and warehousing.

they ar cutting jobs by the hundreds now
they have no intent of doing anything but getting richer while fucking the taxpayers
and when it backfires we will say we told you so just like after reagan and both bushs

The US labor force is about 150 Million. Employers almost daily add and cut jobs, close locations, open new ones, move them and generally, form a moving target when it comes to labor force numbers. The net change for 2017 is positive; labor force participation is up, the unemployment rate is down, and jobs are being created. And, what would normally give a liberal a public warm and fuzzy, minorities are participating in the new economy like they haven't been able to for years. But then we all know, privately they think them minorities should be down on the plantation or deported.
A few hundred job cuts are meaningless. Unless you're one of those cut, or an arrogant elite liberal looking to chant more Trump attacks.
