  2. Hello,

You can now get verified on forum.

The way it's gonna work is that you can send me a PM with a verification picture. The picture has to contain you and forum name on piece of paper or on your body and your username or my username instead of the website name, if you prefer that.

I need to be able to recognize you in that picture. You need to have some pictures of your self in your gallery so I can compare that picture.

Please note that verification is completely optional and it won't give you any extra features or access. You will have a check mark (as I have now, if you want to look) and verification will only mean that you are who you say you are.

You may not use a fake pictures for verification. If you try to verify your account with a fake picture or someone else picture, or just spam me with fake pictures, you will get Banned!

The pictures that you will send me for verification won't be public

The only poll that is truly important at any time, is the poll that indicates the mood of the country.

7 days ago, it was reported that the mood of the country is at an all time high...since Jan 3....2010

    It's in the mid 40's

Obama's averages were barely in the low 30's

The country is finally feeling and seeing optimism.

@Anon "He still got less than 20% of the total population to vote for him, but our broken political system says he won."

    Broken?
    Yes.
    Broken because Trump was elected?
    No.
Broken because the two parties start with the assumption that American Citizens are stupid enough to accept whatever shit they want to feed us. But there are enough critical thinking Americans who can see through the shit and get at the truth.

The reality is that Sanders didn't even get a chance to win the hearts and minds of Americans because of a corrupt nomination process within the Democratic party. Clinton and her ghouls owned the process, and they made sure she won the nomination. To hell with the Democratic process, to hell with fairness, Hillary had to win, and she had the power to make it happen, even if it did involve some skullduggery.

And most telling about the corruption?
    DL posted;
"Corporate Democrats do not trust Bernie Sanders. Corporate Democrats are on the right side of the income divide. They hope that Democratic politicians can win on social issues alone."
    Ponder this for a moment.

"Corporate Democrats" don't want a socialist in office because they know he would push through higher tax rates for the rich, and that would include the Democrats. Democrats only give lip service to higher taxes for the rich. "Corporate Democrats" expect to win with a charismatic personality who can give lip service to higher taxes for the rich and expanded social programs while doing very little for Americans. Meanwhile, they find ways of enriching themselves.

The Republicans are not much better. They also subscribe to the ideal that they never saw a government program they couldn't make money off of.

Trump is the odd man out. He is a pompous gas bag but he owes nothing to the robbers in Congress.

The Democrats are outraged that Trump pulled off a win in the one election they didn't completely control. They arrogantly thought he would implode under the weight of his own ego. When that didn't happen, they even more arrogantly attacked his supporters. They did not realize that by crossing that line they were playing right into Trump's strategy. They have launched an attack the like of which America has never seen before, attacking Trump with biased, half truth, lame stories that daily attack his honesty, his intelligence, even his ethics.

It does not matter what Trump does, or does not do. The unsupporters will find or create a reason to criticize him, calling him names and pointing out every imperfection the man has, even if they have to make them up.

The Republicans, for their part, are taking a hands off approach at best. Trump won without the Republican party they figure, so let him survive without the Republican party.

And when a Democrat is in the oval office the Republicans honor the President with their own brand of insulting attacks. Not as vicious, or as biased, or as dishonest, but then who knows; if Clinton had won we might be reading stories of Bill sneaking down to the kitchen at night to have his way with the tubs of Crisco.

    Is our political system broken?
    Yes.

That's why there is a revolution.

Middle class entitlements do help ordinary Americans. That is why the Republicans cannot cut spending for them, although they would like to.

      "Middle Class entitlements?"
Like what; are you referring to Social Security and Unemployment?
Or perhaps the cell phone program, or AFDC?
The hell are you talking about?

Ask Congressional Republicans. As soon as they get serious about cutting government spending they run into effective resistance. Much of it comes from Republican voters.

I just busted out laughing this morning when I read Trump's tweet attacking CNN for a Gallup poll and claiming Fox News has much better ratings.

That probably just sent people to Fox News to check their polls where Trump only has a 43% approval rating and the GOP healthcare bill only has 23% approval.

I do literally laugh at the logic or lack of same the PR hacks will try to pass off sounding just like Nancy Pelosi saying we will have to pass the law in order to know what's in it. As if people can't look at what is already being proposed to know they are about to get royally fucked in order to give billions to the wealthy.

But let me just play along with that nonsense. If they can't judge what they will have from what the GOP eventually comes up with they sure as fuck know what they've got right now.

Most Americans don’t want Obamacare repealed, new poll finds

Trump called in Republicans today to threaten if they didn't vote for Trumpcare. But it was just laughed off because Trump is the weakest president in modern history and with a 39% approval rating they aren't fearing Trump. They are running away from him.

Bad government results from too much government (Spurious Quotation)
Quotation: "My reading of history convinces me that most bad government results from too much government."

    Variations:
    1. "My reading of history convinces me that most bad government has grown out of too much government."
Sources consulted: Searching on the phrase "bad government" and "too much government"
    1. Papers of Thomas Jefferson Digital Edition
    2. Thomas Jefferson Retirement Papers
    3. Thomas Jefferson: Papers and Biographies collections in Hathi Trust Digital Library
Earliest known appearance in print: 19131

Earliest known appearance in print, attributed to Jefferson: 19502

    Other attributions: John Sharp Williams

Comments: This exact quotation has not been found in any of the writings of Thomas Jefferson. It bears some slight resemblance to a statement he made in a letter to John Norvell of June 14, 1807: "History, in general, only informs us what bad government is."3 However, the quotation as it appears above can definitely be attributed to John Sharp Williams in a speech about Jefferson, which has most likely been mistaken at some point for a direct quotation of Jefferson.4

Reactionaries love to misquote the "Founding Fathers" in order to make it seem as though those ancient worthies share the benighted prejudices of contemporary cranks.

The Master of Facts loves to prove that the cranks are mistaken. :p

Damn, if you didn't run off on a tangent.

If folks knew the corruption, waste and fraud implemented by the federal fucking government all due to 'red tape', they would not want the federal fucking government involved in implementing the entitlements.

Folks would be further ahead in their lives, if they took control over their own lives, implementing their own personal decisions, their own choices, their own independence.

Free from the entitlements created by the federal fucking government.

But, most are lead to believe that the federal fucking government is their friend.
Listen yo-yo, your gotcha moment didn't work as you thought it should.

It was meant as a generality.

“History, in general, only informs us what bad government is.”
Thomas Jefferson, Letters of Thomas Jefferson

“I predict future happiness for Americans, if they can prevent the government from wasting the labors of the people under the pretense of taking care of them.” ― Thomas Jefferson
