Question: Which boobs look and are proportionally MUCH bigger. 32-H cup, or, 42-H cup?

Okay, you, you annnnd you got it right. The rest of you, wrong.

Though cup sizing does change somewhat with band sizing, in a nutshell the band size (32/42 above) respectively is the distance around a gals ribs just under her breasts (so the actual boobage is not considered). As you can imagine, a gal with 32" band measurement is more petite/thin than a gal with 42" who will be more full/robust. So get the image of these two gals irrespective of their breasticles into your head for a moment.

The cup size (which does increase width wise, though not as much as they try to demonstratehttp://blog.morefrontroom.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/07/boob_volume.png ) is a difference between the measurement above, and a second measurement over the breast itself. In our example (and charts vary somewhat), an H-cup means that the difference for each will be 8". http://www.biggerbras.com/bras-by-bra-size-sitemap/brasizeprogressions/ That means 32/40 and 42/50. So, lets put that in sport terms to help you out.

Using the image of the women you were supposed to imagine above, place two soccer balls upon each of their chests. Do you see the difference in that they are both increasing the same amount roughly. For those of you without imaginations, use the image below.

Therefor, when you wish to express that your gal has a really huge rack, yet, have no fucking idea what her measurements are so just make something up (typically giving them a massive band size and then repeating the cup measurement thinking that's impressive, ex.: 62-HHHHH), should you increase the band size, or, the cup letter?

I used to work with a young woman who wore a 36 HHH bra, a size she could only find in the Frederick's of Hollywood catalog. She was only 5'1", so it was quite a problem for her.

A 62-HHHHHH would be a monster. I had a girlfriend who wore a 38-C bra. She had no idea how bras are measured or fitted. She couldn't understand why my shirts were so big on her, since her tits were so much larger than mine.

What is called "sister sizing" (which is like as I explain above), isn't exactly true either. However, it's not as dramatic as the image above. 8" is 8", so much of that pertaining to projection away from the ribs, and to a lesser degree increased width.

That said, not all guys are wrong as to their gal's stated size in that gals buy the wrong rack sizes by buying bigger bands to accommodate for larger boobs (when they need to increase cup size, yet either can't find or won't pay for larger cup bras). However, we get a lot of guys on here that want to state their gal has big boobs, and to do so kick up the band size a few inches. So tell me guys, how well does your gal take it when you ask if she wears a larger size dress or jeans than what she does?

As to your girlfriends @Bron Zeage , perhaps a better course of action would be not to share each others shirts and bras

How serendipitous, I was just reading about this very thing a few days ago.

 

I think that bras, of any size or construction, are The Devil's Invention, meant to lead us poor uninformed guys astray.
Since my first disappointing experience I have never trusted them.
I had lusted for a long time after an older neighbour who seemed to have a very impressive 'rack'.
When the time eventually came that I had the chance to uncover them it was a total let down, literally.
What had been a very 'shapely pair', when set free turned into two 'empty sacks' that descended belly direction.
She must have spent ages each morning 'packing' those things into her shape forming bra.

 

An "H" cup!!! That stands for Holy Hell!
