Are you familiar with the term "Bunny Boiler", referring to an obsessive ex-partner or one night stand who flips out and gets a bit psycho, possibly violent?

 

No I never heard of that term...but by your discription, I don't think I would want to meet one...lol.
Mrs Doc...is good enough for me, shes the only one that will put up with my shit...lol.

 

I'm sure that term dates back to "Fatal Attraction", but I've never actually heard it used.

 

You never dissappoint me with your knowledge, Kimiko. I used the term in another thread tonight and just got blank looks. I had always assumed that it was fairly common usage everywhere, and as it cme from that film included America in the "everywhere", but Caff and Nympho hadn't heard of it so I thught I do my research.

I wasn't familiar with the term, but sounds just like my Mexican ex girlfriend. Sweet as Pie most of the time, then out of nowhere go off ballistic like a pack of firecrackers, sending me running out of the door, which would piss her off even more. One crazy bitch she was, spend all day together shopping for cabinet handles, install them in early evening, then just go off, NO YOU AINT FUCKING MOVING IN WITH ME !! I never said a goddamn thing about moving in with you, where you get that from? This is exactly why! Next day we'd fuck like rabbits.

 

I think that many 'crazy' women just didn't get proper, nurturing treatment.

You'v got to handle them correctly...

 

I have met a male bunny boiler, so they are out there too. Seriously.
Unfortunately for me, I did not realize he was mentally ill and obsessive until it was too late.

 

Male bunny boilers are so common, there wasn't any need for a cute label and are usually known as jealous assholes.
