Its sad, but as much as I wanted to take horses 50 smackers (At my current exchange rate that's a new house.) I won't be submitting a story. And yes it is entirely my own fault for time mismanagement.

 

Thanks for the kind words. I actually had not planned on submitting anything. I put a story over in the KAW to try and support Death Knight's effort but got butt raped because a few felt that it wasn't science fictiony enough (won't make that mistake again), so I've been sitting back on my haunches instead of writing. We'll see. There's the rest of this week left.

This account is checked typically once a day in the early morning hours. Under the wire. Phew.

Every time we have one of these things I wonder what Challenge the Host will set. It's damn hard to be original. If we count CAWs, the .5, the SS, and the KAWs, we've had over thirty contests. That's a lot of ideas designed to inspire people to write.

ahorsewithnoname gave us three categories of choices, each somewhat specific in its own right, but broad enough to appeal to a variety of writers. It will be fun to see what people did.

 

And with head hung down in shame I must admit.

Just didn't make it. Too many holes in my story, and too much going on in my life.

However, I will be an avid spectator! I will be sitting here with the likes of @darthel0101 , @luvsalik , and @N.E. Woman ! Good company to be in indeed!

Yes, I woke this morning and was excited , new stories to pour over soon , yiphee !! (Yeah, yeah ! I know such is my life , no comments thanks!)

Seriously this is only my 2nd (well 3rd if you count the KAW) comp , and I'm hooked. The standard of the stories is amazing , and I can't thank the writers enough for giving up their time, hair (I know a few who tear it out , hehe! ) sweat and a little of themselves to us for free.
Also the host @ahorsewithnoname it wouldnt be so well produced with out you, thanks for your efforts .

Well now all we can do is wait , wait for the call to arms , I hope the all the readers realise what we have here and give their support .

Thanks guy's , hope the nails remain intact , it wont be long until we have a winner, though the readers are the real winners , in my opinion .

Oooh, I agree @luvsalik, more stories to read!!! These stories I might even have the intelligence to be able to understand and follow.
