Hi, I don't look in this forum much and it took me ages to find out how to vote on a story.

Would it not be a good idea if anybody that posts a story on the forum also post a link at the end to show people where to vote ?

I know some have the link in their sig and I've noticed (just now) that some post it in this thread as well.

I just think a link at the end of the story would make it a lot easier for new members, like me, to vote if they wanted to.

I think Ejls was referring to the stories posted in the sex stories site not the forum. If you look at the top of the screen it will say sex stories that is where you would vote for a story that you either like or don't if a member posted a story there.

Hey everybody, I got something finished after all, it's not quite what I originally planned, but overall I'm fairly happy with it .

Emerson addressed that question with ejls. He wanted all the stories to appear on the forum, since he's a big supporter of the stories forum, but he didn't require it.

He did, however, request that a link be posted on the stories forum and PM'd to him before the deadline or before the poll was filled, whichever came first. If you did that, it seems like you should be good.

 

I just bumped all the CAW10 stories to the top of the page where the readers can see them. I could not bump CJ's story or Black Ronin's as they are not on the story forum. They still have time to post them on the forum.

By the way, WE (and the story challenge) ARE on the STORY FORUM.

Hey, at least on here, you always get a name to associate with a nasty comment.

It's not so bad. Plus, here, ELP is going to promote the shit out of all the stories, which may get you more readers.

In other words, you won't be invisible.

 

Now, I didn't want to be the only holdout who didn't post his story on the Forum as well as the main site. But at the same time, I wanted to give readers something a little extra too. After all, this particular challenge is supposed to be about being the Best, right? So I thought I'd use the Forum version of the story as the way to make an argument for the merits of my story.

Here you'll find the Annotated Version of "Phantom", in which I've added extra material explaining how the story evolved, talking about sources of inspiration, and pointing out some things that people might have missed the first time around. Think of them as DVD extras for anyone who really enjoyed the story. Be warned, these notes contain spoilers, so it's probably best to peruse them after reading the regular story on the main site.

I would just like to say that I've been a member of XNXX since October, 2008. I joined this site so that I could contact writers I admired on the Sex Stories Site. I posted my poems and stories there when I first started writing. It was many, many months before I knew this forum existed.

I was first a member of XNXX, then a writer on XNXX Sex Stories Site, and finally, a contributor to this forum. That is why I prefer that outlet for my stories.

 

And again i will say there is such a range of themes in this CAW and so well written it will be agonising to vote. I already have 5 or 6 that i really want to give a vote to. They are all deserving of a vote though.

 

Wow! So many stories to read! Now I regret waiting until the list gets posted before reading them. It's going to take me a while to get through them all.

 

With some late entries, I count 22 stories for this CAW challenge! Considering that some have multiple parts, some have sequels, some have more than one version, and some writers even wrote two different stories and had to choose which one to enter, that's an awful lot of writing!

"Awful", of course, being a modifier for "lot" as opposed to a comment on the quality.
