  2. Hello,

You can now get verified on forum.

The way it's gonna work is that you can send me a PM with a verification picture. The picture has to contain you and forum name on piece of paper or on your body and your username or my username instead of the website name, if you prefer that.

I need to be able to recognize you in that picture. You need to have some pictures of your self in your gallery so I can compare that picture.

Please note that verification is completely optional and it won't give you any extra features or access. You will have a check mark (as I have now, if you want to look) and verification will only mean that you are who you say you are.

You may not use a fake pictures for verification. If you try to verify your account with a fake picture or someone else picture, or just spam me with fake pictures, you will get Banned!

The pictures that you will send me for verification won't be public

    Best regards,

Speaking of Texas, did you catch this story ???

Texas woman kills six cows, injures law enforcement officer after falling asleep at the wheel
A woman suspected of driving while intoxicated killed six cows and injured a sheriff's deputy early Saturday morning in Bishop, authorities say.

A deputy with the Neuces County Sheriff's Office was guiding a herd of cattle off a roadway when the crash happened about 1 a.m., KRIS-TVreports. The deputy suffered injuries that were not life-threatening.

Marco Everett of the Texas Department of Public Safety said six cows died after the woman, who has not been identified, drove into the herd.

"The driver said that she was actually asleep when she struck the livestock, and it's turning into an intoxication investigation," Everett said.

Investigators also said the cows' owner also could be held liable because the animals got out and wandered onto the road.

Authorities have not said what charges the driver may face.

I did not. Bishop is down in South Texas and mainly hispanic.

A friend of mine hit an angus cow in Rock Springs, Wyoming as he was headed to the airport. I was 5 minutes behind him and had to swerve
to miss that same cow. He was penalized for it, and I would have been too had I hit it. It was pitch dark and the cow was completely black.
Fuck I miss working for the man...

    What's with U2 at Canada 150 bash?
It’s so stereotypical Canadian that we’d hand our big stage over to non-Canadian performers on Canada’s 150th birthday celebration on Parliament Hill.

“Incredible news! Bono and The Edge from @U2 will be joining us on Parliament Hill on July 1 for #CanadaDay! Don’t miss it! #canada150,” read a message posted on the federal government’s Capital Experience twitter feed Friday.

Heritage Minister Mélanie Joly tweeted: “Exciting news! Look forward to seeing U2! It’s a beautiful (Canada) Day! #Canada150 #CanadaDay”

But they are not Canadian! What about hottest music stars in the world Drake or Justin Bieber?

    Not available?

How about The Weeknd or Bryan Adams, Celine Dion, Shania Twain, Rush? Avril Lavigne?

    Not willing to come?

    How about Nickelback?

They are playing Canada Day at Northwell Health at Jones Beach Theatre in Wantagh, New York.

What the heck is going on here, I asked the prime minister’s office?

“Given Canada’s role on the international stage, celebrating this key year for Canada wouldn’t be complete without including someone from abroad to speak on how our country is viewed elsewhere in the world,” explains Justine Lafond from the PMO. “U2 band members, Bono and the Edge, will be making a special appearance during the Canada Day Opening celebrations around noon on Parliament Hill. It is fitting that these guests participate in this special Canada Day celebration as they hold dear many of the same humanitarian values that Canadians do. Bono and the Edge will be performing one song.”

Hopefully it’s just performing and not another lecture from guys worth hundreds of millions but always begging for tax money for their pet projects.

When in Canada, Bono is usually looking for the taxpayers to up their funding to the poor — a noble pursuit perhaps but probably not appropriate for the 150th birthday celebration.

Now there is plenty of Canadian talent on stage that day — Cirque du soleil, Gordon Lightfoot, Dean Brody, Serena Ryder, Alessia Cara, Patrick Watson and Louis-Jean Cormier and Walk Off The Earth to name some.

They also have another one of these influence the kids into social justice issues things going on July 2 in Ottawa headed up by We Day founders Craig and Marc Kielburger and featuring amazing acts like the Tenors, Alanis Morissette, Barenaked Ladies and Hedley along with astronaut Chris Hadfield, social media and You Tube star Lilly Singh, gold medal swimmer Penny Oleksiak and Sen. Romeo Dallaire.

It’s a good lineup but I’d still like to see July Talk in there on the first day of July. The Glorious Sons, Arkells, K-os and Jess Moskaluke too.

How did U2’s top two front men end up there on Canada’s big birthday instead?

Is it a globalism message that members of the Irish superband are pushing or were we not able to attract our own stars?

The PMO didn’t respond when asked if Bono and The Edge are getting paid for their brief appearance. But if they are, hopefully it’s in Canadian funds.

And they pay the carbon tax when they take their corporate jet to Cleveland for their show later in the day on July 1 show.

    *******

Speaking of great performances, hats off to Francie Munoz and her fellow actors in the DramaWay’s “annual celebration of the exceptional artistic achievements of Toronto’s special needs community.”

I met Francie through a story where some Toronto cops, in a bad moment they regret, referred to her in a private conversation caught on their dash cam as a “half person” and “artistic.” Turns out she is artistic but not in the way they were mocking.

She’s just a great artistic performer — playing a role in a very cool play she and her pals worked on all year through amazing DramaWay. I wish I could mention them all but one of the other stars was none other than Sam Forbes, an autistic young man who is known as the Singing Starbucks barista as seen on the Ellen Show.

Great talent there. They should be on Parliament Hill on Canada Day!

    *******

Thanks for all the emails and tweets on the famous Toronto Wildlife Centre patient number 2189, who we can now proudly give a name. So many great suggestions and votes for Cousteau which came second and Houdini which came third.

The name with the most votes was none other than MacGyver — after the famous TV problem solver who could get out of any jam with a little ingenuity.

This racoon did just that by surviving being trapped in a water-filled garbage can.

    Call him MacGyver.

Last but not least if I get a chance to meet Prime Minister Trudeau this weekend I’ll ask him what he’s doing on the jailed in North Korea Pastor Hyeon Soo Lim file? Many are hoping for him to encourage Chairman Kim Jong-un to release him back to his Mississauga church. One of those is Toronto PC MPP Raymond Cho who has been a friend of the reverend’s for 20 years.

“The fact he is considered a spy when he was feeding people who were hungry is ridiculous,” said Cho.

It is. Maybe we can get Bono and The Edge to help us on this one when they are at the Canada Day celebrations.

Have a super first summer weekend everybody. Scrawler out.
